Some people wrecked on me when I said Gwyneth Paltrow's country music was better than Bring The Light. While that was obviously tounge-in-cheek I can say with all assurance that Soundgarden's Black Rain beats the pants off anything Liam has ever written or will ever do with Beady Eye. Now go suck it Liam!

Yeah Black Rain is a fuckin dreadful song. I watched that performance the other day and the only thought that went through my head was "what the fuck happened to them?". it sounds like the worst Ozzy Osbourne song ever made or something. Garbage.
Black Hole Sun shits on anything Beady Eye will ever put out though. THAT's a fucking tune.

THAT's a fucking tune. lol yep Black Hole Sun was something special alright, but a lot of people don't realize Black Rain was actually a song that was originally recorded during the Badmotorfinger sessions in 1991 and didn't make the album. They just pulled it up out of the trash to includ something new on the recent retrospective album "Telephantasm." |
