Both Beady Eye & Oasis facebook pages updated their status with: "Beady Eye have lots of exciting news coming your way! If you haven't signed up for the mailing list yet you can do it at their website: www.bit.ly/9YKEp9" This was about half an hour ago, just thought i'd post the thread for those not on facebook, even though the whole world appears to be on facebook these days |

Well they advertised their webpage on the 8th and we got news on the 9th. Advertise their mailing list today so possibly tomorrow for news?

Monday is the 15th ... maybe we will have a new song, the one from the first 20sec clip ?
I am just saying this as there was rumours of a single on the 15th ... Furthermore considering BTL is quite different, it wouldn't be stupid to diffuse on radio a new song with a more classic"oasis" sound to great a bigger hype.

Another song seems too good to be true. Besides, they wouldn't release another track when the video for BTL wasn't even premiered.

The 20sec clip is a rock guitar solo. Even though I don't expect BDI to sound like Oasis, I do expect the other songs on the album to be closer to an Oasis rock sound than to BTL. If all the songs are like BTL, then i'm sorry it's not a rock band .... And as far as I know they claim to be a rock band, so the other songs will be closer to the Oasis sound for sure! |

i am really starting to believe that 15 sec "teaser" that's been taken down was edited with the music for BTL but it in fact was the video shot for another song, which would make sense of why they took it down...
i'm just speculating here...
