My morning paper The Sun
Each Friday they cover new single releases and this week they've added Bring The Light.
4/5 Stars
"If you are currently feeling the painful presence of an Oasis-shaped hole in your life, fear not! Liam Gallagher has got together with three other members of the defunct band to create a new and oddly improved version. Sticking to a traditional rock'n'roll aesthetic, this track rambles joyously along with the retro charm of an ice cream at the seaside."
Good review from the Sun who sometimes seem to try harder in bringing Oasis down in recent years.

BTL is a bit more user friendly then lots of more recent Oasis tracks. The general public who laud Oasis will probably see this as a good change. I personally think its alright.

I like the tune, but "improved version [of Oasis]"? Never.

This was the point I was trying to make a few days back. Beady Eye are a new alternative as they will offer more poppy and listener friendly so those who were against Oasis will come out and heap praise on them.
Do I like the tune? YES.......Is it an improvement on Oasis? NO, its different so comparisons shouldn't and can't be made.

comparing beady eye to oasis is like comparing tyrannosaurus rex with t.rex. same members, different style and sound.
