With the video having not surfaced yet, it can only lead me to believe that it's not for BTL!!??.If it was for BTL...then it woulda followed soon after??!
We obviously seem to be up in the air with happens next again!!

Yeah at first I thought the video was surely for BTL, and I do still think it is. But I really don't know why they would release the song and hold out on the video. I'm not seeing any advantage to that...

It did seem a bit odd that they only shot it barely 2 weeks before the tune dropped. That doesn't leave a great deal of time for editing, any special effects, etc.

I think you're right, this can't actually be the first proper single as the video would of definitely been out by now! This song just has to be a teaser for the album. Found it so strange their has been no real fuss around the single on their part. They must be getting ready to launch the proper single in the new year with a big promotion behind it. BTL was just for the fans I think.

maybe they shot the video a few weeks ago to accommodate schedules, i mean it looks like Jeff Wootton is in as he tweeted about doing beady eye stuff and with him touring with gorillaz at the mo, it might have been the only time he was available from now to xmas and the actual physical release is slated for January???
