It seems to be getting quite a lot of stick on this forum, I fucking love the song, think it's different, really catchy and a different direction from Oasis which is what I wanted.
Liam sounds fantastic. You have to remember the album wont be all like this, there will be loads of rockers and a couple slow ones. Just enjoy it!

At the risk of being slated here, think its pretty good afterall!
Thought it was decent on my first listens, but just blasted it on the speakers and its a nice little rocking number. Nothing groundbreaking mind you, and drags a tiny bit at the end, but I definitely like it.

oh and crappy-ish lyrics, but if there's something I definitely was not expecting from BDI its inspiring lyrics

Even if they'd just had something to actually say other than baby c'mon. I think if this had a record machine type payoff at the end this song would be great.

BTL = WIN for me. Love it - but then I didn't like the latter Oasis years as a bit too polished. BTL is ramshackle, a bit all over the place, dodgy lyrics = perfect.

I do like it. I currently have my rating at 7/10, which I think is fair but that could edge slightly higher with more listens. However, it's no masterpiece, and the poor lyrics really do hinder it.
It's refreshing, and for that it should be embraced. Not nearly as bad as some on here would like us have believe.

I like it! I think its really great INTRO song showing us what we can expect from the guys. I think this whole song is just like another teaser. Good stuff

Rolo slurps up anything the Gallaghers put out. If Paul Gallagher released an album of melodic farts, Rolo would be the first in line to buy 12 copies.

Play the song on your stereo, put volume loud, and it gets even better!
It's a nice tune, not the perfect debut single by far, but as already said in other threads, it maybe just a sign from the guys that they will be "different"!
It deserves 7/10

Its an excellent filler track, and a nice album taster. Nothing more - nothing less.

Fucking awesome song, it's a bit different and people don't like change. Amazing effort IMO.

Only problem I have with it is that it's a minute too long. Piano = Good. Vocals = Good. Melody = Good. Solo = Good. Not an Oasis sound = Good (as much as Oasis are ace). I'd just like to hear it in the contect of an album and can't wait to hear the first "proper" single. Nice one lads - wasn't expecting it at all.

I think it's good, like the change in direction to 50's rockabilly sound style.

Love it, and people will be singing the girly part "Baby Come On" lol Pretty good tune I think, love the heavy piano in it, catchy and kinda more pop-rock like some had suggested. I'm sure there's at least 4-5 better tunes on the album though, which will suprise people. Bring the Light? ? Bring the Album I say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
