i am not dismissing the band altogether ... just stating the fact that i think the song isn't any good.
After listening to it several times, i think it would sound miles away better if it wasn't for that fucking piano, i hate that shit.
the song isn't terrible tho.....

I feel like it's wrong that so many here jump to the conclusion that if you don't like the new tune, you're obviously holding it to the Oasis standard.

I didn't miss Oasis when they broke up, I felt like they're time had come, and I like to think I listened to the new Beady Eye tune with an open mind. It's just so mediocre... Honestly, this is the first time I've missed Oasis.

I agree. I came with an open mind and came to about the same conclusion. Besides I belive that its a 2 way street. Even if it's a single, so what? It doesn't mean that the album will be bad, necessarily. Remember, Shakermaker was a single in place of the likes of Slide Away! That says it all, surely.

Give them a chance. To make up your mind about the band based on one song is silly.
