lol haha maybe ... naaahhh thing is ... tomorrow i'm at work, and i can't download there, only can surf the internet, (hate my boss for that, he also didnt give me a day off...) but this way i can see what people say when they have heard the song.
And if this will become a populair thread, well whats wrong with that? Butr as you might know, i'm not that kind of a member...
Anyway ... can't wait for your opinions and to get back home from work tomorrow to hear it as well ... please tell me mates!

^^Hahahaha, that's what I'm waiting for. Just like when DOYS came out. People will be proclaiming up and down that's its the best shit that they've ever heard. Not saying it won't, but it will have to be really bad for people to rally against it. I'm expecting a fairly decent song that gets over-hyped, but I could be wrong.

^^So true. I probably wont say that its shit, unless its really really bad (which I doubt), but I probably will be in the 70% or the 20%. Most likeyl I'll be in the 20%. Liam would have to something really good for me to be in the 70%. Most people who will be in the 70% (if the song is only decent) will try and use the argument that they had expectations anyways and thats why its great. Its a pretty bad argument. No matter what your expectation you shouldn't let it dictate whether you thing something is actually good.
If its good then its good. If its bad then its bad. Your expectations have nothing to do with it.

I'm trying to imagine what it will sound like given the trio's previous output. Of all the songs they put out for Oasis, I don't regularly listen to any of them, but don't find many of them to be particularly crap.
I'm fairly fond of Turn up the Sun, Songbird, Pass Me Down the Wine, and even Love Like a Bomb, but I would never tell someone to listen to those if I was asked to recommend Oasis songs.
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being Champagne Supernova i'm thinking the highest this song will be is a 6 or 7 for me.

Granted you will get people going OTT but you'll also get the reverse and people slating the song and then slating the album (despite never hearing it) based on this one song. I wonder what it'll be like, it'll either be a filler song (as they probably wont give away the best song for free) or it might be a corker to get us all excited like anything waiting for the album. Looking forward to 10am, thank god for working at home !! |

I got played it yesterday and the 1st proper single from the album, bring the light has jerry lee lewis vibe, piano and female backing vocals, it is really good, also its alot different from Oasis. Harder, Psychedelic.
