People should also remember that this song is unlikely to be the best on the album since they are giving it away for free right you are. they probably wouldn't give a stone cold number 1 away. can't fucking wait tho

If the "dancer" said its an amazing song and most of you think its a weaker tune because their giving it away for free, well then the second single should be the next coming of "live forever". Unreal. Why would they release a subpar track as their 1st release? It makes no sense. I told you guys, Beady Eye doesn't care about the charts.

Excellent news. Although I would have liked a CD, the music is the main thing. I'll be downloading it straight away!!
Liam is doing it for the Fans & on a Manchester derby day!
C'mon City & C'mon Beady Eye!

Wow, I didn't expect this. Definitely not disappointed though. Again though, hats off to them for not allowing the track to leak. I can't remember the last time I didn't hear a song I was interested in ahead of its official release.

Amazing news, I was thinking, perhaps the riff we heard isn't even from ''Bring The Light'' and just took off the album?

guess i'm in the minority who feel that this song WILL be one of the stronger tracks from the album... after all, this track will be all over the place within mere minutes after the free download is posted... liam is no fool and clearly he knows this is the way to go, as it will give the band as much exposure and buzz possible in the digital age... so why would they want the 'first listen/impression' of beady eye to be a subpar track? doesn't make any sense to me... also think the limited vinyl pressing is cool, they are thinking 'outside the box' and shows that they could give a fuck about chart position.

That's 5am here! Might wake up about 20mins earlier than normal to guarantee I have time to download it before work. Then I can watch this forum explode while at work, nice one.
But as SoulDigger said, it won't be one of their weakest tunes by any means. Beady Eye are essentially a new band (ok, sure, it's Oasis without Noel, but without the Oasis brand name, they need to appeal to the general public). And what better way to appeal to the general public by giving your first single for free? If it's crap, then it would be a bad PR move. It needs to be at least somewhat decent, and for this reason alone we should be excited.

I would like to point out that i didn't say it was going to be one of the weakest. IMO it will be the 3rd or 4th best song on the album.
Take Vlad The Impaler and Violet Hill as two examples of free downloads before anything else has been released.....followed by Fire and Viva La Vida respectively. Both are strong songs but not as big as what was to come

Also, I just want to point out that it was only last week a lot of people were complaining! BDI really have exploded in recent days with developments. Love it.
