I believe Beady Eye will have some interesting guitar work. Turn up the Sun is probaby the most intriguing guitar work of any Oasis song. I believe Andy will bring some interesting licks. Of course Liam will bring a few 2-3min songs that may be catchy but I think the overall album will have more depth then ur typical oasis album. Noel was the master of writing catchy tunes that really grab you. Overall I think they will be at par with oasis's last three albums but not as good as their first 3.

I think it will be better than DOYS which wouldn't be hard! Also agree that there will be more depth to the songs.

I can see it turning out kinda like DBTT but psychedelic, better, alot more interesting and with a few more stand out tracks hopefully..its all just speculation of course but i would be ecstatic if this was the case. I really think this album will be quite special and although i dont want to compare in to oasis albums im hoping it sits ahead of all the post 1995 albums (which i adore btw) but i doubt it will be anywhere near the first 2. Then again i could be wrong and it could be a pile of shit but at this stage who knows

There's nothing spectacular about the guitar playing in TUTS. Noel managed it perfectly live and it's pretty much just a rip of an Irish trad song...

The guitar work on the demo of TUTS is briliant.

The little guitar riff that drives TUTS was obviously a Noel addition, so we'll see what comes out here. Either way I am excited.

I think the guys would have gone in the studio more relaxed and adventurous maybe, especially Liam would have seen a chance to shine? ??

Don't you mean Shiiiiiiiiine? : Gem usually plays lead on Liam's songs in the studio and he never does anything overly complicated and I don't Andy has ever done anything in the style everyone wants either. Gem and Andy are very competent lead guitar players but playing difficult lead and writing difficult lead. I can't see anything more complicated than Oasis coming about and tbh I think we could see songs of a more simpler nature than Oasis. Not necessarily a bad thing like.

Oasis weren't advanced and Beady Eye won't be either. And they don't have to be, they're not Radiohead.

No particular reason why, but I have complete faith that this album will have really rocking tunes on it. I hope it's more DBTT than DOYS, and obviously with more songs like 'Turn up the Sun', 'Lyla' and 'The Importance of Being Idle' style one (even though Noel wrote that one).
People are always too unsure about Liam, the average person would see Liam Gallagher as he was in the Knebworth period - immature, arrogant, unreasonable, but what they don't know is how much Liam and Oasis have matured (before they split obviously.) Especially since Gem and Andy went in the band. It's amazing how Gem and Andy contribute, as seen on the DOYS DVD - which actually makes me more grateful for that CD.

i agree, Liam has become a more calm person, i mean he's not 23 anymore, duh!? still, i would also love to hear songs like TUTS and Keep The Dream Alive, that one is probably my favorite song on that album. I really like GGTIA too, a nice change of pace.

^^ The two above me, what's that got to do with the songs being more complicated though? Sure he's calmed down but does that make songs more complicated guitar wise? Liam Gallagher looks tame compared to a band like GnR and they had guitar parts that would make the heads of everyone in BE spin.
