I'm wondering if anyone has thought yet, what Noel will think or say when he hears the news BDI single. Mainly because, at some point someone will aks him. Mainly a reporter. No matter how good it is or how bad. I just wonder what he will think.
Me personally I will not offer an opinion yet on the clip thats floating around. This happens with every album, we get a clip or a song and its the most mega thing in the world and then 3 weeks later we're all like "eh?"
But yeah back to the main point, I'm just wondering what Noel will think or say. Because I think we'll be hearing something from him two within the next couple of months.

I think Noel will just go like "I think it's good, yeah." like when it was with Blur lol. Might as well say a joke or two about Liam... and maybe praise Andy's guitar playing...or not. Who knows! Will be interesting to hear, though!

For the record, I think Noel's heard the single already. Maybe even the whole album. Wouldn't suprise me if Gem has played it for him.

Well wasnt there reports that Noel is working with Andy and Gem on his solo album, so he won't be able to say anything too negative  |

I don't think that Noel'll say anything bad. And I think he'll genuinely like it. He always said that they had solid musical solidarity...it was on everything else that their opinions differed wildly. However he will make as many jokes about Liam as he possibly can in the time he is given. |

Noel would always be his sarcastic self, but i agree with the poster above that he'll have definietly have heard the album. I'll presume its being released on Big Brother records.. it'll be interesting to hear it but listening to DOYS the drop off in song quality after track 7 is startling and doesnt bode well for the BDI album imo

All I know is that he will not slag the songs off even if they're crap (they won't be). He has a lot of respect for Gem and Andy. Also for Liam (as a songwriter).

once the record comes out you know he will be asked about it sooner or later.... if the record is decent, i hope noel decides to truly be the 'big brother' and give credit where it's due... we will see.  |

agreed im sure Noel has heard the single and entire album. Id loved to have been a fly on the wall when did or when he does. Hope it prompts him to get his own shit out,as he's soon going to get pissed being asked that same question, "Noel can i asked you what you think of Liams new............."

He won't say anything, he won't give 2 fucks what they're up to. I think he may be a bit curious to be honest. And he's still friends with Gem, so I'm sure he'll be respectful against it. As for when he's speaking about Liam in person, well, we all know what the story will be there. |

I think he'll like it. He might not admit it and if he does he'll probably say 'it's good, but not as good as my tunes' or something similar.

He will have at least heard bits and pieces, some stuff is probably knocking about from the Oasis era 2006-2009 that was used or re-worked in some form for the album or b-sides.

He always used to praise Liam's songwriting, but not sure if that was because they were in the same band or he genuinely believed that though
