I'm super excited for the new Beady Eye material. Sounds very promising... Once I saw the cover for the single I instantly got that Beatles vibe. I'm not criticizing or anything, I just think it's really cool. The cover kind of has the logo and label layout of "With The Beatles" and the actual cover of "The Early Beatles". Just some small comparisons... =

You could say that their cover is very 60's ish in general. I mean the font type looks like the same font off of the early Rolling Stones albums.

^I have discussed this with a couple of people. You are seeing the same thing as everyone else.
Personally, I think this is more of a revelation of the direction in which the music will be attempting to go then anything else. Even-though it was just 20 seconds, it sounds more bare bones, and throw back rock then Oasis. Liam is trying to literally become John Lennon with BDI.

Those pictures...I don't exactly get the small features that BDI are supposedly borrowing from the Beatles...
Other than it's four blokes looking @ a camera? And in one of the Beatles photos the they happen to be looking slightly up...though not nearly @ the same angle as BDI. And they are wearing black...
Neither of which strike me as something that would have been a overt or even covert reference.
I kind of think that it might just be coincidence.

It's the style of it all that's very remniscent of the 60s, which is great. I think the artwork is terrific.

I don't like the cover at all, but who cares, the thing that matters is the song

It could just be that they put them in spiral staircase, round like an eye (some even pointed out that the brick @ the top looks a bit like lashes), necessitating them looking up the see the camera, put them in black to have their clothes fade into the shadows so they kind of look like they are standing in an eye.
Or maybe they are supposed to be down somewhere dark and looking up @ the light...as in Bring the Light?
Either way there isn't much room for words to be incorporated into the picture. So they put them separate and duh @ the top...because any place else is stupid if you think about looking through albums in a store.

But then again you may be right and it's yet another Beatles homage.

Many bands in the 60's done that kind of covers. The kinks, the doors come to mind

Noel always said Liam wanted band members on album & single covers-- now he's in charge. We will find out if Noel truly was the slow one.

Actually, we haven't seen the band on any album cover since HC and any single since Lyla (unless you count the LTBL promo where they're doing through a tunnel).
