Ive listed 25 of the best 90s songs, not including Oasis. Ive allowed only one song per artist (hence why they're arent more radiohead songs on the list)

U2 - One
Most of the songs on this list I feel are overrated, but this song never gets old. Even Noel, who has a healthy discontent for his contemporaries, says that this is one of the best song of all time. I agree. And I don't even get into U2.

Massive Attack - Teardrop
Love everything about it: the sound, the voice, the videoclip. It's the only Massive Attack song I really like though.

off that list... Common People.
Actually, it might be the best 90's song off that or any other list

don't mean to nitpick, but Hallelujah is a Leonard Cohen song from 1984

And Fools Gold is from the 80s.
I think my favorite non-Oasis song from the 90s is History - The Verve.

One by U2. Great lyrics, great vocals - all round great song.
You might think I'm biased as I am a massive U2 fan but it was one of their tunes that got me into them big time.
But I actually agree with idlerdreamer and say that Stay (Faraway So Close) from Zooropa is the better tune and is one of the hidden gems of the decade.

So Sister - The Verve There She Goes - The La's Take It Easy Chicken - Mansun
These are my favourites non-Oasis songs from 1990's.

I know. and it's the best version, but it wasn't his. that song is commonly refered to as "Jeff Buckley's song", but it's not. it's like All Along the Watchtower. it's not big deal, I was just saying.

haha yes i was aware it was a leonard cohen song. jeff buckley's version however is the most famous and recognisable. And Fool's Gold was released as a single in the 90s

Nirvana started a movement and the drums of Teen Spirit made that song. I am huge Nirvana fan, but other songs were better.

Ocean Colour Scene - The Riverboat Song
On that list, though, I chose Bittersweet Symphony.

You didn't include Country House, so I had to go for The La's song

The song just has everything. One gripe I have with this list is the exclusion of Karma Police. Probably Radiohead's best song. I mean Street Spirit (Fade Out) is really good, but I think that Karma Police is better. Just my personal opinion though.

The Verve. Bittersweet Symphony was absolutely huge in the 1990s.
In all honesty though, the 90s had so many iconic songs. What a decade.
