I've gotta say Falcon by The Courteeners.
I may get slated for this but it reminds me of WTS(MG). Its very easy listening, and triumphant and lot of the songs on the album could pass as singles. It's short, sweet and honest.
The Courteeners have helped fill a bit of the hole left by Oasis to me personally. They are a very good live band too, I would recommend them to anyone.

Jakob Dylan- Women & Country. Perfect mellow album. Good balance between folk and country without sounding too country. Perfect while downloading and reading on the net at night. I like how rolling stone said,"Dylan delivers a roots-folk lullaby with a hushed melody James Taylor would kill to have written." For the song " Nothing But The Whole Wide World."
I am sure I will get to others next year. I never chase around when albums comes out, because they will always be there. I just follow what mood or moment I want to listen to.

Finally bought the debut album by The Lines and this gotta be on my list of 2010 too. A really good album, great produced and played. I've seen them supporting Ian Brown back in January and they were really good live.
I already have a couple of new albums waiting for me in the new year:
1. second album by Erland and The Carnival (will be released in March) 2. second album by The Moons (will be released in March as well)
Hopefully The Twilight Sad will release their 3rd album sometime next year too.
It's been a great music year for me. Saw lots of bands, found pretty much great new bands, bought pretty much great new albums. It's just music, but I love it.

Sweet Jane - Sugar For The Soul (debut album of the year) If The Velvet Underground, My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus & Mary Chain, and Mazzy Star are in your CD collection, then you should own this.
Other solid debuts:
The Tamborines - Camera & Tremor The Detroit Social Club - Existence The Domino State - Uneasy Lies The Crown Sound Of Guns - What Comes From Fire Tame Impala - Innerspeaker The Moons - Life On Earth
Other relatively recent bands:
The Sky Parade - Intoxication Sad Day For Puppets - Pale Silver & Shiny Gold The Sunshine Underground - Nobody's Coming To Save You The Courteeners - Falcon Children Collide - Theory Of Everything The 22-20s - Shake, Shiver, And Moan
Veterans of our time:
The Charlatans - Who We Touch Kula Shaker - Pilgrim's Progress Manic Street Preachers - Postcards From A Young Man The Real People - Think Positive The Chemistry Set - This Day Will Never Happen Again BRMC - Beat The Devil's Tattoo
...and this list doesn't even include the singles of the year, which there were so many!
