Weller's management has been on other man's hand before John Weller passed away last year, I think it's been for a couple of years now. All I know is his sister, Nicky has been one of his right hands for a long time.
I'm sorry that I can't help you, paranoid, but I think it's better to get contact via his record company or official website by sending an email?
I just saw him 11 days ago. It was the 3rd time for me to see him this year. Although the gig was great as always, he had a very uncommon setlist and didn't do second encore. I don't know why, but I felt something wasn't "right" with him at that night.
Anyway, I'm a huge fan of The Jam and Weller. A great, great man. Enjoy seeing him at Wembley Arena in December, paranoid.

are you a member on the official Paul Weller site? You should be able to find an email address for someone in his management office. I will be at the Manchester MEN Arena show in December.

Considering the pitiful two cities he'll be hitting this US tour, I won't be seeing him. :/

From The Jam songs he's played "Strange Town", "Going Underground" and from the Style Council, "Shout To The Top". Melkweg 2nd night he started with "Into Tomorrow", from The Jam he played "Pretty Green", "Start!", "Scrape Away", from TSC "Shout To The Top" again. and on both nights "Art School" with Andy Crofts from The Moons. Tivoli gig (12 days ago), he started with "Aim High" and played most songs from "Wake Up The Nation". Again "Pretty Green", "Start", "Shout To The Top", "Art School" and "Scrape Away", so no more "Malice" or "Butterfly Collector", but I can't complain. At Weller's gig you never know what will the opening song/setlist will be.

Are you going to any of the upcoming Ocean Colour Scene concerts? You could always get hold of Craddock before or after the show. Craddock would sort out your problem.

^ He's played in another cities than NY and LA in past.
Weller is the man who's born with the Union Jack on his back and it doesn't always make him easy. Remember, why The Jam couldn't reach the US.
BTW paranoid, like sword said, you can always see Cradock before the gig outside the venue (at least in Holland) on the street or in a pub. When Weller played in Melkweg in May, we talked with his tour crew before the gig. Wembley Arena is much much bigger than Paradiso or Melkweg, but you can still try to ask his tour crew or Cradock?

Cheers Sword and Mimmi. As it happens i have 'spoken' with Cradock who wasnt willing to divulge any info on management but says he could possibly get me backstage at any Weller gig in the country.....apart from Wembley Arena lol (the gig im going to) Apparently he said it'll be packed out with Weller's family and friends so there is little chance.
Never mind!

That's true, but he does know there are fans out here. I mean, the fans should come first. I'm sure there are enough fans out here to make it worth while. He might be playing a smaller venue then usual, but that shouldn't be a bad thing.

^ I completely agree with you, TheImportance. The fans should come first and as long as there's people who buy his records and support him, it's his duty to perform live for them. I think it's more big money issue for the record company and the management, but the man like Weller should know what's worth and what's not. He plays in arena's in the UK in December, but in Holland he always plays in a venue like Paradiso and Melkweg with capacity of 1500 people and Tivoli (where he played 2 weeks ago) holds 800 people. It's great to see him in a small venue.
I really hope he'll play in more places/dates in the US in the near future for all his American fans.

I totally understand and agree, but I just wonder why a band wouldn't want to play in front of their fans.

I do understand your point NYR. I can say I'm very lucky to see many bands. I think Holland (and Germany) are the most European countries where the British bands play outside the UK, because of the short distance. I go to lots of gigs and meet bands outside the venue or on the street by an accident quite many times. As an experienced gig goer and a music lover, what annoys me really lately that many audience can't keep their mouth shut during a gig. I'd say to them "if you want to chat with your friends, don't come to a gig, but go to a pub".

You always get a group of people not even paying attention to whats going on stage and they are just chatting and getting in the way. Real fans miss out on seeing their fave artists cos some people just go to gigs cos they think its 'cool' and just to say 'i've seen so and so' I feel you pain Mimmi

Thanks paranoid.
I think even a bad support act deserves respect. I really really hate when people keep talking during a gig, even at support act. When I see people like that next time at gig, I'll hit them with my plastic waterbottle. ;D (I mean it).
