anyone here a fan or heard of them? An absolute brilliant band in my books. In my top five for sure. All three of their albums are great. With their third "Teenager" being in my top 5 favorite records. Great sunshine kind of pop/rock.
Big Sur (a nice sunny pop song)
Nothing Changes Around Here (a more serious nostalgic kinda tune)

Meh, they're ok. Good tunes, nothing overly special about them.

Overhyped for sure, were massive in Ireland when they first came out. Remember their first few singles and album getting to number 1 and been played non stop on radio. Was at one of their early gigs, where Morrissey, Bono and Edge and even Slash was in the audience.
So Much For The City, I think is a underrated album. I think the stuff not released from that album like Deckchairs and Cigarettes, Hollywood Kids, Old Friends New Lovers and Til The Tide Creeps in are fantastic songs. Singles are great. Rushed their second album and lost it after that although their last two albums aren't band. I thought HAL were a better Irish band for that Beach Boy/Byrds stuff.
