Few good songs but not as good as I expected. Need to give it a few more listens though.

I love it, The Coral have yet to make a bad album to me! Summer has finally come.

I'm loving this album. Really good. "More Than a Lover", "Roving Jewel" and "Green Is The Colour" are my favourite. Songs like "Green Is The Colour" can't be made by lots of bands, but The Coral. Really looking forward to see them in October.

Now had to the chance to have a good few more listens and man has it grown on me! Really good, some harmonies on it. Also anybody heard the song "The King Has Died" that's the B-side to 1000 years? Really good.

In the recent NME, Mani is quoted about the new Coral album. Mani says it's the best album since the debut by The Stone Roses. Strong words from Mani. Not heard the Coral myself so i can't comment. Personally i'm not a fan of the Coral. Just not for me. I bought their debut album and that's were it started and ended for me. I've seen them a few times support Oasis and i always found them annoying bastards from Liverpool.

Personally i'm not a fan of the Coral. Just not for me. I bought their debut album and that's were it started and ended for me. Then put away your James and Charlatans LPs for a while and give the new album - and the three that preceded it - a listen, because if you think The Coral can be judged on their debut alone then you're dead wrong.
