It gives me a headache listening to Matt Bellamy go "Rooohhhhhhhaaaahhhooooohhhhhahhhhhhhhhehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaahhhhhuuuuhhhhhhhhhh" for 20 mins on every song.

Sorry, Snoop with the Gorrilaz takes the cake. However, this is pretty good, though I'd imagine this would be the real #1 highlight of Glasto if U2 actually played.

This was far better than snoop with Gorillaz, the crowd actually looked like they enjoyed this. Muse showed everyone what a REAL headliner looks like and fair play to them for playing Newborn and Citizen Erased.

The problem with Gorillaz wasn't the performance, the problem was the people, they were way too quiet, nothing like Blur last year. Anyway, Gorillaz are not a festival band

Muse ain't no worthy substitute for U2, but it's cool to see The Edge do this guest appearance to please the disappointed fans. Shows he has some dignity and respect for his fans. I like that.

Neil Young and The Boss were much better I know, actually, Origin of Simmetry is their best album, after it they became quite shit with Absolution, rubbish with Black Holes and Revelations and cringy with Resistance. Neil young and Springsteen are legends, especially the first one, but come on, they must be 60 now, I'm sure they put on a great show cause they have great songs and albums ( more Neil than Springsteen, anyway ), but I'm not sure they are a GREAT live act right now, I do have a lot of respect for The Boss for all his 3 hours long gigs, anyway

Blur weren't as impressive as the other 2. A stoned 40 year old dancing to 90s pop songs was just pathetic even if the man is a genius

And he didn't even dance, for fuck's sake, just listen to Tender in that show, or The Universal, cause that's something Springsteen or Muse will NEVER get

It's a bit harsh to say Muse are better now than U2. Muse are probably selling more worldwide copies of their last album Resistance then U2's last feebale album. Fair enough! But a U2 show is something to experience. Whether it's back to the War days, Joshua Tree, Zoo Tv or the current 360 Tour. U2 wipe the floor with anyone on a live stage. Trust me. I know what i'm talking about.

Cos that was the one time the people were really into it, you gotta be kidding me.

Which is why the highlight of Muse's performance was a cover of a fucking song by U2. Well done. U2 would of blasted Glastonbury into the fucking stratosphere, Muse weren't even as good as they were in 2004 (which was fucking amazing).

Thought Muse were great and getting The Edge on was a good touch, but for me this is the obvious highlight of the weekend

No doubt the highlight of Glasto 2010. The crowd went wild when The Edge came on and it was an excellent cover of a classic tune.
Thing I love about Muse is that they just love everything to be epic and OTT. It's not pretentious at all, it's bombastic. They are one of the best live bands in the world and always are a safe bet to see.
But I agree with sword - there's no better live show than a U2 show. They easily wipe the floor with everyone else. If you've ever seen Zoo TV, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Well I was there and I have to say that snoop coming on with the gorrillaz was ace and I think most others thought so to. Muse were loud but that was pretty much all they were, and yeah I think the highlight for most was them covering U2.

I went and it was phenomenal.
Gorrilaz were shit though. A lot of people (myself included) left 4 songs in.
