Simpatico was fucking horrible.I thought NYC and Muddy Ground, along with Blackened Blue Eyes, were good. The rest are shit though. You Cross My Path is a really great album though, probably one of my favorites from 2008 (and their best in the last decade after Wonderland).

I've been a Charlatans fan for exactly 20 years mate. I can remember the early days of the Manchester scene and gigs at Manchester Free Trade Hall. Charlatans played Blackpool Empress Ballroom last month. Twenty year anniversary of Some Friendly. Cracking concert. They are touring the UK this October.

I don't agree with you on Wonderland. One of my least favourite Charlatan albums. I watched the Charlatans twice on this tour. Manchester MEN Arena and Finsbury Park London (supporting oasis).
