If someone offered me 17th in the premiership next season I would bite their hand off right now! All I want next season is survival and try and build from there. Something like what Roy Hodgson has done with Fulham. A nice cup run wouldn't be bad either, obviously winning it is out of the question but it would be nice to get to the Quarter-Finals of one of the cups or something

Fair play to Plymouth, they played We Are The Champions and Local Hero depite the fact they got relegated to the 3rd tier. Bit of class is nice to see.
And glad to see the players were enjoying the pitch invasion, love the way Nolan ran in.

Lovin the new Avatar Toon fan! I think I over did it with the celebratory Guinesses last night...bleuuuuuuuuuurgh! Lookin forward to the new season, I think if we can go a whole season with just the one manager and manage to keep hold of the likes of Nolan, Carroll and Lovenkrands we should have a comfortable return........all we need now is to get Shay Given back and the premiership title will be ours  |

If someone offered us 17th next season right now i'd take it. We have to start slow, get established and push up the table over the course of a few seasons. Something like what Fulham have been doing under Roy Hodgenson. Hoping we stuff the ex-makem dog lovers squad on Saturday |
