I was kinda glad that Sunday Morning Call wouldn't be on there at first. The song is horrible, and I know it's my opinion and all, but I really can't see how anyone could like it.

I love the ending. I think people dislike it cos it has a similar vibe to WDIAGW, but since it follows directly after that song and is a little bit inferior, the hatred of it is exaggerated.

Will the older songs be re-mastered in any way? If not this is a complete waste of money to proper Oasis fans tbh.

well if you listen to rock n roll star on definitely maybe then listen to bag it up frm DOYS without hiring up the volume you'll see the quality of cds now compared to 1994 are alot louder & better so i'd say yeah, obviously they'll be remastered,it's gonna be fucking ace.
any other band quitting having a complete singles collection released, fans would be happy about it,strange here,im sure some of you join this forum making out to be oasis fans saying you think it's gonna be shit etc ... to try n put REAL oasis fans of buying the album.
sunday morning call is a class tune aswel.
this is the best way to mark the chapter at the end of oasis by having every single they ever made on 2 discs, nothing to moan about really, how many cigarettes or pints do you waste money on?? i know i drink loads of alcohol tiome to time, spending money on oasis is what most of us here do,as we're fans :-)

Something that no one has bought up. Do you think the reason they changed the order of the singles was because they were afraid of a drop off? I mean I know that most people are just going to skip through to their favorites, but when you think about it, it makes sense to chnage the order of the singles a bit. I mean we all know that the level of songs from the frist 8 years blow away any songs that they did in last 8 years. So maybe they were afraid that after a certain point there would be too much of a drop off with singles. I mean let's just be frank after All Around The World would any of those songs other than SCYHO have been on the first 3 albums and quite simply the answer is, no. In Oasis' early days most of those songs which are "singles" would have been b-sides and nothing more. So, I think the reason they changed it up a bit was because they were afraid of the drop off in quality.

I think that's not the case, many bands don't like to do chronological order on their compilations because they don't want the order comp to be like their albums, one exemple is on TF, GLITO and then WFL just like the album, it makes the comp seems like dividing the fases of the band, I guess the band want you to you see the songs as a unit, many bands comp like Blur's Midlife Crisis, Supergras is 10, Radiohead's Best of, and many other did it.

I still find it strange they would include the round house gig on there box set even saying it was the last recorded gig of oasis whch is a lie. Maybe they thought the real last gig at v festival was rubbish or there holding it back for another release down the track. It's a shame they don't look after there fans with some decent footage how long must we wait serious.

And on top of that, it's mostly made up of the newer songs anyway. The traclisting is the only reason I will never buy this piece of garbage. It was like some retarded fool picked single completely at random and stuck them in no particular order. It's a disjointed, jumbled mess.

Did people buy Stop the Clocks? Isn't this quite a bit the same... track listing at least? I own every album and single except for Stop the Clocks... not sure what the point of that record was?! I'll buy this for the DVD and I love that Lord Don't Slow Me Down is on this but... still.

This is posted on cdjapan.co.jp on their Time Flies listing: "Greatest hits album release from OASIS. Disc 1&2 features previously released 26 singles plus a Japan-only bonus track for 27 tracks total. Disc 3 features audio recording from their last official live "iTunes Live: London Festival 09" at Roundhouse, London. (70 minutes approx.). Disc4 (DVD) features 36 music videos including previously unreleased song. (w/ audio commentary from the members). Also includes a booklet featuring description and OASIS history. *Unless otherwise indicated, DVDs are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and carry no subtitles." www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=SICP-2760I wonder if the bonus track is SMC or something else (DGA?).
