Quality day out. Sunshine, music, cool people, cold beer and good vibe in Manchester. Ian Brown opened up with I Wanna Be Adored and played a best of set of his solo material. Encore was Fools Gold and Stelify. Top man! Bad Lieutenant played new material and serious classics from the New Order and Joy Division days. Top band! Detroit Social Club were the band of the day. Amazing energy. Seriously talented musicians. Very similar to The Who or The Verve. I also had my name called out by Dave the lead-singer. Nice one!! Dave also put me on the guest list. Cheers Dave! There were loads of other bands, stages, tents and dj's. Top day out in Manchester. DETROIT SOCIAL CLUB DETROIT SOCIAL CLUB GUEST WRIST BAND

Sounds like it was a top night.
Gutted I couldn't make it. Platt Fields is only 10 minutes walk from my house, so would have been handy!
