The problem with what Liam did was liam once again was being self cententered. Leading up to the brits Liam was the one saying that this night was for Oasis, but in tomorrow's headline's it wont say Oasis Won the BRIT, instead it will be Liam as the headline. This just him not showing up for the US Tour and MTV Uplugged. Both times it should have been a happy occasion for the group instead Liam made it about himslef. In Boston there was a baseball player called Manny Ramirez and whenever he did something stupid or self centered it was always "oh well its just Manny being Manny" and on this forum its the same thing. When will Liam see that he represents Oasis and what ever he does cast a black eye on it. I also wonder when will some people on this forum see that. Noel should've showed up, but in his defense Liam should've thanked him. Noel wrote all the songs, played like 5 different instruments on WTSMG, and did lead vocal on what might have been the best song on the album. Liam is 37 years old and still hasnt grown up. I wasnt expecting a heart felt speech, but a few nice and consice snentences, him thanking Noel, and going back to his seat would have been enough. When you ask yourself "why dont people look at the music instead of the tabloids?" think back to this because once again when it should have been about the music (ie WTSMG) it was all about the tabloids.

Liam obviously said something about Noel after he thanked Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan. But what? Oh well, we'll have to wait till the papers tomorrow. I just heard it on the radio, he said: "the best bands in the fucking world...live forever".

after watching the video again... I find liam being very cool... to be honest not even the bad mannered liam... he didn't throw the award he throw the microphone and then give the award to a lucky fan...
If you expect that any of the brothers publicly thank the other one you are insane... noel wouldn't say anything about liam either...

He was very kind to the presenter and to the fans!! What are you all on about?

Thanks for the YouTube link Howdo!
For all we know he might've mentioned Noel. Damn ITV and their cowardly censoring. They can broadcast something as shit as The Jeremy Kyle Show and ITV News but if someone says "shit" on live telly they decide it's too obscene. It would've been nice to see Liam swagger over to Mr. Collins and wave the award in front of his repulsive face but you can't have it all.
But anyway, let's just be happy Oasis won!

Have we not learned over the past 18 years that Liam and Noel are both extremely self centered...only praising each other when prompted to in an interview, followed shortly by slagging each other off...It's clear Liam left Noel's name out intentionally by the pause....but what else did you all expect?

well liam has dissapointed me big time! i was hoping for a decent speach and that was pathetic!!!!!!! what did he do with the award? ? total disrespect to all the fans!!!!!! WTF? COOOOL they won it. But, I mean, C'mon Rkid goes up and gives a simple as fuck "Thanks to all the fans" speech? He didn't give somewhat of a detailed more heartfelt speech prepared? Can someone post a link to the Oasis part of the awards?

I thought Liam was rock n roll. I agree. It's Liam being Liam. Half of us would've dubbed him a softy had he been all sentimental and whatnot. I saw precisely what I wanted to see. Now let's have a go at the new music! Bang on

Anybody else noticed something yet?
Liam, Phil Collins and ROBBIE WILLIAMS in the same building. Any ideas of what could take place?

the audio was muted for a few seconds so Liam couldve said something derogatory about Noel, wont know until the media or people who were there post what was said. The crowd sort of went quiet after the mute. It wouldve been nice to see Noel Bonehead Guigs and White up there with Liam but how and ever we all know who wrote the music.. Noel on his own with an acoustic guitar would sell more tickets than Liam and his new mock up

I think it was beautiful what he did, although, of course, mentioning Noel would have been the icing on the cake.

Oasis will NEVER be sentimental (and by Oasis I mean the Gallaghers). And I agree with whoever said Noel wouldn't have mentioned Liam.
