Because people are getting butthurt that Peter Kay (hilariously) called him a knobhead.

I'd be very disapointed if Liam all of a sudden turned into a nice sensitive guy. I applaud his bahaviour. The Brits is a joke anyway. It was Liam just being the same Liam we've known for 18 years. Difference he was 21 when they started out. He's a fucking middle aged man who still acts like an adolescent. It's pretty embarrassing. He's only 37, not 57! You're complaining about Liam Gallagher behaving like Liam Gallagher! That's why he's Liam Gallagher!

Really difficult to be "embarrassing" or a "knobhead" in an arena full of fakes and talentless ass-clowns, if you ask me. Yes

He gets called a prick because he's got a track record of acting like an unprofessional tosspot over nearly 20 years. I didn't realise to be a member of this forum and enjoy a large amount of Oasis' music you had to suck the dick of every member of the band. Liam acts like a bellend - I'm going to call him out for it. The fact that he sang on some records I enjoy isn't going to change that.

You can suck the dick of any member you like, I'm just pointing out that you join an Oasis forum and just repeat the same old shit about Liam post after post. We get it. I don't give a fuck what Peter Kay say's about anyone, but if you think someone calling someone else a knobhead is hilarious, then I find your comment about Liam strange indeed.

First thing seymourstein is completely right. Liam is 37 and if you are 37 you might as well be 57. There are a ton of people slaggin Noel off for not going to the Brits (one of the few times he wasnt there for the band), yet everyone wants to give Liam a gold star for finally being there for once. If Liam wants do something for Oasis then he should release a great album not act like a 21 year old who still thinks he's the shit even though he doesnt have a voice anymore. If Liam wanted to really support the band he would've done MTV Unplugged, he would have done the US tour, he would have actually did soundchecks. Actually, last time I checked Noel did attend all of those, right? And yet, the one time he doesnt show up people want to cast Noel down and say he should've showed up and that Liam was the true person who cares about Oasis. If Liam did care about Oasis he would've done things Oasis needed for the past 18 years like the soundchecks, MTV Unplugged, the US tour. I'm not going to say Liam is the true person who cares about Oasis just because Liam decided to go out do 3 or 4 interviews, accept Oasis' award, and do some demoes. Come to think of it Noel did that for the whole 18 years he was with Oasis.

Noel left in 2000 because Liam decided to call his own brother's kid and his own neice illegitimate. He wouldnt had to carry on if he hadnt been a dick. Bad example on your part.

Do you think the Liam of 1996 would have shown up at the Brits alone like he did and do so in more or less non-controversial fashion? No, I don't think he would have either. Liam has matured, but he still has the bravado and swagger which defined/defines his persona. Still have no idea what you Liam bashers are on about.

Well, at least we've got something to talk about now, ey? It's been kinda, well... dead here lately. And another thing, British music scene just became so much more interesting for about 5 minutes!
I'd just like to say I'm a bit surprised over some people here who think Liam's behaving imature for his age. Like I've said elsewhere, just because he's closing in on 40, do that mean he should just sit on his ass up in Hampstead every weekend and watch idol or something with his family? Life don't end when you're passing 30, or just because you have kids and settle down, y'know.

The reasons doesn't matter. The fact is that Noel abandoned the band in 2000 in the middle of the tour and in 2009 resulting in the cancelation of the tour's last 3 gigs. We have Liam's version of the 2009 break up episode but we don't have Noel's. Only that silly good-bye on their website. I'm not here to be Liam's defensor, i just don't think you're being fair.

Saying this in general, not talking about Liam now. Just in general.
Wtf is with people getting so worked up and annoyed if someone doesn't "act like their age". Sheesh. Have they themselves tried so hard all their life to act like their age or what? "Growing up" and maturing isn't always a choice, it's down to other factors too, which might bring trouble+headache to the person who "doesnt act their age" aswell.
I'd just wish people would come up with some other kind of argument for once than whining about him not acting like a 37 year old.

Adding on to that notion, Oasis have always been about rejecting what society deems and doing things there way. How should a 37 year old act? Isn't that partially subjective? And isn't that based off of how the majority of 37 year olds in society act? Well, since Oasis and the Gallaghers are not about conforming, which is an admirable trait in my opinion, then why are you expecting them/Liam to? Liam did nothing wrong, for the 100th time.
