I actually like Rhinestone Eyes a bit, and no, I'm not too bothered about the charts, I'm just saying it's a complex album that I think most people who liked Demon Days won't like. Like someone said after BHN, most of the people who weren't THAT into Oasis jumped off the bandwagon. I'd say that this is a bit like that.

I'm not to keen on some of the rap collaborations but the rest of the material is top notch. It doesn't really have a huge huge single Rhinestone Eyes and On Melancholy Hill could be great choices but I don't know if they'll top Feel Good Inc chart wise doesn't really matter since i love them more than Feel Good Inc.

I never heard of Los Campesinos before, have you maybe mentioned them in nearly every one of your posts that talk about modern music only furthering your stance as a simple minded, one track buffoon? Maybe I heard of them on Spin, actually.

Lyrical? Well, I just think "Superfast Jellyfish" will end up on a McDonalds advert or something. If there is a theme or underlying message to Plastic Beach, it is Damon Albarn's alienation towards the growing falseness, materialism, and consumerism in today's society. Superfast Jellyfish is a satire ffs. You won't be seeing that on adverts. I also don't understand how this album is at all difficult. I find it quite poppy and accessible for all, whether you're into Taylor Swift, The Velvet Underground or Oasis. In my opinion, it's the best album Damon has put out since Parklife.

Album of the year for the Brit Awards and probably more from the rest of the world Album concept is perfect, On Melancholy Hill, Stylo, Empire Ants, Rhinestone eyes, Some Kind of Nature....
And for me the best is the sound from White Flag... Drum Solo with oriental sound with a hip hop break... Who can do better ?
This album is the best concept album so far of the year, who can do better ? A fuking pure composition... Albarn is a genius on Gorillaz... Only on Gorillaz... Blur is from the past...
