I like Darren Ferguson and PNE. I was standing about 10 ft away from him in October 2008, when Carlisle Utd were playing Peterborough (at home, I'm a Carlisle fan, despite the fact I live in Orkney). He was getting a fair bit of abuse though.

Anyway, I hope he does well and hope that in the future, PNE get promoted to the Premier League.

I've been to Brunton Park twice following PNE. 1993 and 1995. Rough fans. Very dodgy ground back then. Thankfully PNE took thousands. I think there was a rivalry with Carlisle and Preston in the early/mid 90's. All good fun!

Fergie Jnr is making his mark.
PNE allowed full use of Man Utd, Carrington Training Ground when Utd where in Asia last month.
Matt James (Utd reserve player) on loan at Preston
Danny Welbeck (Utd wonderkid) on loan at Preston

Preston play Blackpool tomorrow in a huge local match. Approx 5500 Blackpool bastards will be in Preston.
