I complained earlier about my 8GB ipod not having enough space on it, but I've realised why that is now.
I need help for this though. On my old Windows XP, Itunes files are in M-PEG4 Audio File and for my new Vista Laptop, CDs are converted to AAC files.
AAC files seem to take up a lot more space. For example, an MPEG4 file of D'you Know What I Mean takes up 7MB, whereas in AAC it takes up 15MB.
I really want to convert AAC to a smaller capacity file, but not MP3 because that's not great quality. Help would be greatly appreciated!

ipod.about.com/od/introductiontoitunes/ss/importsettings.htmBTW that link won't show you how to convert them, it will show you how to set up your import settings in iTunes so that the files aren't so big when you rip a cd. When you installed iTunes on your new laptop, the default settings have obviously been at a different setting to what you had on your old one for importing, nothing to do with XP or Vista.
