majors dont mean shit anymore ,,,first of all back in the day (50s thru 70s) all the majors except for the french (clay) was held on grass so to win the slam all you had to do was win at paris and master the grass(all the other majors were played on grass),,its much harder now when you need to win on 4 different surfaces as for MCENROE CONNORS AND BORG in there prime they rarely went to the australian open because it wasa not considered a REAL MAJOR (if they did they would have a dozen more majors )thats why they dont have the number of majors that they should ,,rafa and fed are great but dont get it twisted they have much more major chanses than the old school did

so it's much harder now because you need to win in 4 different surfaces and yet the players back in the day are better because they didn't choose to travel to Australia? you're not making much sense there

kalas' post is just daft.
Roger and Rafa are great. I'm more of a Federer fan but I can acknowledge Nadal's greatness. I just can't get into him cos he's one whiny bastard, and that uncle of his... and Roger's just GENIUS so...
Any predictions for the US Open?

it's usually the way they play, and not just the trophies, what makes players be remembered as legends. Nadal and Federer deserve a place in history, specially cos their rivalry is great for tennis. I don't know how many majors McEnroe has, nor I care. All I know he's still remembered.
