ok, so now that oasis is done and dusted (for the foreseeable future at least,, do you have a 'plan b',, that is, a '2nd favourite band that is still making/putting out new music. myself personally, there will never be another band for me. i will never follow another band as closely and as passionatlely (sorry about my spelling,, i have had a few dammot) .... the killers are meh alrite i suppose butt ey are sputtering out already .. . and don't go on telling me trying to sell me on kasabian , i know alot of people round here like them but i happen to think therre SHIT, i just can't get into em and i don't like that kinda music all other new music , from what i have heard, quirte frankly is nothin' but SHIOT -SO- this leaves me with: first and foremost the back catalogues of OASIS .... BEATLES... a little kinks and moody blues and johnny cash and stones and chicago mixed in .... everything else,, quite frankly, is shit. all other new music is shit. THE END

I'm not going to follow just any band now Oasis have gone. I'll follow a band if their music makes me feel good. But not many bands do that, well, not they way Oasis' does. I'll still listen to Oasis more than any other band.
No point in pretending to like a band.

Kasabian without a doubt. They we've got the same spirit as Oasis and hymns.

I wont ever follow another band as close as I followed Oasis. Ill continue to listen to the two greatest bands, The Beatles and Oasis. A Noel solo album will be cool

Ian Brown is my second favourite artist after Oasis, then probably Dizzee Rascal after that.
Don't see why you have to just 'follow' one band though, is it not possible to like Oasis and other bands?

I think he means, following a new band like we did with Oasis... With news everyday... it's already happen with me and Kasabian. Like I did with DOYS and Oasis.

And like Noel said... I hope Kasabian will do stadium tour one day. They are probably the last youngest band who can do this kind of thing. A real potential.

Me too - can't wait for his solo tour if this happens, i third this. no music will ever mean anything to me like oasis does. yes 'does', not 'did.' fuck that past tense stuff.

I last lost my musical direction and desire from 91 - 94, from the moment i heard supersonic my ears pricked up, the 15 years following Oasis has my musical tastes going in many different paths. Every cd i have , every band iv been to see, every different musical genre i like is a direct result of Oasis being my main band, i would not love music with a passion if it wasn't for the Gallaghers. Im hoping i don't loose my musical desire again.
Today has been the long period of time iv spent without putting on an Oasis song i just couldnt bear to do it, my arse dropped in town whilst passing a bar that was playing Roll With It. The goose bumps was dancing all around.
It not like someone has died, but something is definitely missing inside.
Lets All Make Believe.

Well no band will I follow like Oasis. Kasabian is probably the closest thing but even then, it's not even close. I'll follow Noel I suppose. Probably the other members of Oasis if they continue on as well.

This is wishful thinking, but Noel has said before he'd join Kasabian if he wasn't in Oasis. Probably a 99.9999999 percent chance of it not happening, but just imagine. They would be as good as Oasis were in the 90s.
