I know this is an almost pointless poll but what do everyone think? To be honest I don't know what to think.
In one way I think it's Oasis, they'll be back because Liam and Noel love this band and it's all they've known for nearly 20 years.
But, in another way we all know that Oasis are not what they used to be and maybe it's time to call it a day.
But they are brothers and (not to sound to soft) they have to love each other. I have brothers and we kill each other but if anyone said or did anything to either of them they'd have me to deal with.
WTF is going to happen??

noel doesn't need oasis why go back He does if he ever wants to play stadiums again I think he'd be perfectly happy playing more intimate venues. He's played hundreds of times in the biggest stadiums across the world.

In some kind of weird way, yes this is the end but, if William Gallagher grows up and says to his bro that he is very sorry, it could be like the Phoenix a mythical bird that dies in flames and is reborn from the ashes.

the only thing in the way is the shared stubbornness they both have. if they can learn to get along in the future then it is possible but i get the feeling this is going to be similar to brown/squire in the post stone roses years.

I really do think well see Oasis again, but not anytime in the near future. Id say 5-10 years down the road, they will reunite.

He does if he ever wants to play stadiums again I think he'd be perfectly happy playing more intimate venues. He's played hundreds of times in the biggest stadiums across the world. I saw him doing an interview not so long ago and he mentioned that he hated playing small gigs. They're ok every now and then but they get a bit boring when you're used to playing in front on 50k + fans every other night.

I think this is really it. It sure sounds like Noel is very serious this time.
I'm betting he'll have a solo album out by early next year. Liam will follow suit. And it will be a battle in the charts between the brothers, and the rivalry will continue.
If Oasis were to come back, it won't happen for the next 5 years.

Just realized I'm nearly at 1,000 posts and Oasis split before I got there. Depressing.

I've also read some interviews whre he says he enjoys playing in more intimate venues. Noel is contradicts himself a lot so I don't really know what to think but I'd definitely say that even though he loves playing stadiums he's happier in smaller venues. At least he seemed happier on the STC mini tour than on recent gigs. To be honest I don't think Noel's getting with them and the more time that passes, the worse it looks. I don't think I would be very happy if they were to get back together in 5-10 years to keep making easy money off the Oasis name. If this is it then I'm fine with that but if they want to sort it out then they better get making some music and playing it live. Not giving us a 15 year-old setlist every night like they did on the DOYS tour.

I say it's not the end because this is just the most severe fallout the band has seen.
I am actually quite surprised to see the results thus far. 11 to 10....

Of course it's the end for Oasis but obviously not the end for Noel and Liam.
