Which ending to an album would you choose to listen to if you had to pick one?
(Probably) All in the Mind She Is Love Born On A Different Cloud Better Man
Vs
To Be Where Theres Life Ain't Got Nothing Nature Of Reality Soldier On
Both endings to these albums have been ripped to shit. Both could be much better, but which would you choose? Personally I would pick DOYS without thinking twice. PAITM is very weak, SIL is weak attempt to rival Liam's Songbird, BOADC I feel is a great track while BM is a terrible boring closer.
TBWTL has great groove, AGN pumps me up, TNOR isn't the best but has a nice solo and Soldier On is a great closer, not epic, but shits on BM.

HC
PAITM - Not great, but not their worst by any means She Is Love may be a bit cheesy and Noel's poor version of Song Bird, but it's not bad BOADC is good enough Better Man is utter shit though
Compared to: TBWTL - Solid, much better live AGN - Take it or leave it, too similar to MOS TNOR - Utter shit SO - Better than BM but similar in it's boring repetitive style
As much as I loathe HC, it has a better ending overall than DOYS imo.

HC by miles. Like, the end of DOYS isn't even bad when you think about it. But the end of HC is quite good. Sure there aren't any singles from the end of the record but it's solid nonetheless

Heathen Chemistry. The closing 4 on HC aren't Oasis' best songs but I'd take them over DOYS. Probably All In The Mind is boring, but She Is Love is great and the Born on A Different Cloud and Better Man are at least good and pretty catchy. TBWTL and AGN are good but Nature Of Reality and Soldier On are straight up clunkers.

Heathen Chemistry - EASILY!!
Been listening to the album a lot recently and, though it was never a classic album (in fact it is Oasis by numbers too much to be honest) it is still a good album. The final four tracks:
(Proberly)All In The Mind - Slighty psychodelic and I do think the idea of it outwieghs the finished product (of course) but I love it She Is Love - Ok, so THE biggest mistake was putting this onto the album when he could have had Idler's Dream instead. Though it is still a decent track Born On A Different Cloud - Ok, so it is basically a Lennon rippoff but I just could listen to this much more than the majority of songs off DOYS Better Man - This is a shit poor attempt but I do still listen to it unlike SO

DOYS... just.
Mainly because of Soldier On as the ending because that's the best song out of both endings, but there's no getting away with the fact that they are both oh so poor endings. HC I can maybe understand, but DOYS is so bloody annoying and disappointing because they surely SURELY must of had better songs in the locker. There was no excuse.

DOYS, just ;D
PAITM - Psychedelic, but it sounds a little bit forced. She Is Love - Lovely song, really good. BOADC - Also a good one, it creates a whole atmosphere. Better Man - Not good, not bad. Lyrics make what it is.
TBWTL - Good song, reminds me when I walk down the street. AGN - See Better Man TNOR - I don't know why, but I love this one. Very cryptic and I feel it was made with a bit of frustration. SO - Also love this one, I loose myself into it.

TNOR - I don't know why, but I love this one. Don't feel guilty for liking The Nature Of Reality. It's fucking great.

I dont get the stick that TNOR gets, i really, really like that song. The riff's great, and so are the the lyrics IMHO, and i dig Liams performance on it too. Its no Live Forever, but its a decent rock tune that has stayed in my mind for over a year now.
