1/5 for me. What utter, utter garbage.
Every time I hear him spell out Dangerous Animals I want to punch the boring vagina.
What an utterly pointless and dull album.

5/5 for me. I haven't heard it yet but if you hate it then it must be great.

2/5 it passes as an album as there's actually music on it. Other than that it's the same boring shit the whole way through. It more or less stays at the same slow tempo. Turner sounds like he wants to be doing something else and I wouldn't let Josh Homme produce another album ever again.

hey l4e you cant love the enemy album the way you do and then hate humbug this way, they're not so different. but then again, incongruity is your second name.

The only thing really bad about The Enemy is that they rip off songs and styles of singing, but when they are themselves they're solid. And you can say whatever you like about the Enemy album, but atleast there's passion and energy on it, something that Humbug so badly lacks.

2/5 ... cant believe how shit it is. Crying lightning is half-decent. Thats about it. I put 2 instead of 1 only coz i liked their previous albums and it feels wrong to put 1.

Amps turned to 11 and some guy shouting out of tune?

Amps turned to 11 and some guy shouting out of tune? I would define energy and passion as Oasis. The thing I've always been critical of the Artics is that they can't write a decent melody or hook. I think some of their lyrics are great, but to me, I get no sense of passion if there isn't a good melody with it. And unfortunatley, this album is their worst to date, and I never liked their first two in the first place really. I thought if they found melodies, then they would be great - but it's just the same old monotonous bilge yet again.

3/5
its average but its not shit. couple tunes save it from being a bad album. The production really doesn't do any of the songs any favors thats for sure.

3/5. It's definitely not shit. At the very least, they don't sound like a stupid, typical British indie band any more. They're expanding when a lot of their contemporaries are shrinking.

0/5 is what one would give a Westlife or Embrace album. I can't believe anyone would compare Embrace with Westlife. That's bad form.

I bought this album in Tokyo last Tuesday and I would give 4/5 although I only have listened to it once since I bought it. I quite like it, very different than the other albums, but it's a good album. I must say this once again...Alex Turner is a very talented young man.
