I know musically the comparisons aren't really there - but both consistently produce albums, so why the fuck not. Twang ftw. Brandon Flowers' voice is so irritating now, Hot Fuss was good, but after that - bar the odd tune - they've gone downhill The Twang's 2nd album is a huge improvement. Mental stuff

Hot Fuss is better than anything The Twang have ever done. hell even the shittest tracks from the killers are better than The Twang. The Killers sometimes get a bit too much hate. Flowers can write some huge choruses. Hot Fuss to me personally is one of the best albums of the decade. Sam's Town is decent and Day and Age is pretty good.

Flowers can write some huge choruses. Hot Fuss to me personally is one of the best albums of the decade. Sam's Town is decent and Day and Age is pretty good. The hits from Hot Fuss are by far better than anything on the Twangs' debut album. Read My Mind on Sam's Town is the best on that album is stronger than most Twang songs. But if we're comparing overall, The Twang still get it for me. The Twang have a weak debut (now looking back, although I do think it's solid enough) where Hot Fuss and a few Sam's Town songs beat it. But This Day and Age is shit. And it's mainly his voice. I don't know what Flowers did, but it got so irritating on that third album. Hot Fuss and a few Sam's Town > The Twang's debut Most of Twang's debut > most of Sam's Town The Twang's second album, Jewellery Quarter > Sam's Town AND This Day and Age I HATE this Day and Age (bar The World We Live In.....and the lyric's to Dustland Fairytale)

The Killers, easy. Don't get the Day and Age hate, it's not as good as Hot Fuss or Sam's Town, but it has an overall consistency that neither of those albums have.
