p.e.d. = 'performance enhancing drugs' boston red sox slugger 'big papi' david ortiz is on the list of 104 major league baseball players (the list with manny ramirez, barry bonds, sammy sosa, raphael palmiero, etc. etc..) that tested positive for 'perfromance enhancing drugs' (in other words steriods) back in 2003. 'cos all of the stars... are fadin' away.......' sad sad sad,,, seriously the integrity of the game is in a WORLD of hurt rite now.

oh lol and i can't BELIEVE i neglected to mention the biggest a-hole of them all A-ROD ('a-roid') .
it's been so long, drugs are now as much a part of baseball (and other sports) as home runs and stolen bases. i don't think it's at all possible to clean it up now.

Drugs have taken over baseball and bicycle racing. Which sport is next? track and field (name 5 olympic 100m gold medal winners that haven't tested positive at the olympics or afterwards! have fun!), football (e.g. juve in the 1990's), american football (also BALCO), swimming... i guess you'll have to stick to golf or something ;D

would just like to point out that Mark Buehrle, a man who has never suspected of any performance enhancing drugs (Why should he be, he throws 84 mph?), threw a perfect game the other day, and then threw 5+ perfect innings in his next game to break the record for most consecutive batters retired (45). And this incredible catch saved it all:
So there are bright spots in the baseball world, despite the cloud of steroids.

oh lol and i can't BELIEVE i neglected to mention the biggest a-hole of them all A-ROD ('a-roid') . well, i may be biased as a yankees fan, but he did it as a texas ranger. he's been tested since he's been a yankee and hasn't tested positive. (yet.)
