Not to sound so corny about it - but I guess if we're going to answer such a question we will no matter what we say - the Oasis attitude influenced me the most.
Now, I don't agree all the time with their use of language, and I sure as hell don't agree with their violence - mainly Liam: punching a photographer in 2006 in front of your young son is just plain irresponsible and bad parenting at it's best.
But to speak your mind? To not give into peer pressure? To not give a fuck what people think about you because you know you're being true to yourself? That's commendable. No other rockstar is like that, and very few ordinary people are. Some of my friends call me confrontational and argumentative - now I do like debating, but the Gallaghers' influenced me in speaking my mind. Too many people these days hide around a cloud of political correctness.
Also, the Gallaghers should have all taught us the importance of perserverence - it was through that that they were able to get noticed by Alan McGee.
I think too many people see them as hooligans, but get beyond their 90s coked up attitude and get to the underlying fundamental principles of the brothers and they can teach all of us, fan and non-fans a like, valuable life lessons. "I Got to be myself, I can't be no one else" - that sums them up in every sense, and we can learn from that.
Their entire story should be an inspiration to us all. Fuck Ghandi, long live The Gallaghers.
You see, to me at least - and I'm sure to us die hard fans on here - Oasis means much more than their amazing music. There's so many factors about this band that makes them incredible. That's why non of us will ever feel this strong about a band ever again.
One of the documentaries on youtube: (End of this clip:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEYScmO01Jg&feature=related ) says "Some of the best bands ever are the ones who present a lifestyle that you feel you're buying into. You know, the way they looked, the haircuts, the language, the walk, the music, what was said in the music. It was just like a gang, a real gang. That's what you see as a punter, so you just don't go and buy 'Supersonic' and 'Shakermaker', you buy a chunk of that lifestyle and that's what makes a lot of bands so successful - they're not just selling a piece of music on a piece of plastic"
-Truer words have never been spoken.

Yes.
In about 2003,A Few of the lads who i used to be at school with were going on about how good oasis were.So i just asked dad if he had Morning Glory which he did and i just listened to it and the first ever oasis song i heard was Roll with it because WMP was on shuffle and from the moment i head the lyric "You gotta roll with it,You gotta take your time,Don't let anyone get in the way" I knew my life was never going to be the same.

I wouldn't say Oasis have changed my life.
Before Oasis i was into the Stone Roses and all the other Manchester bands. I've always been going to concerts and buying records.
If Oasis didn't exist i would just listen to the likes of Radiohead, The Verve, Beatles and everything else.
Although i would admit, between 95-97 my dress style was definitley Oasis...

Oasis shaped the present me, no exageration. First heard Oasis as a small kid, my dad was in love with WTSMG, but its only 2 years ago, when i was 15 that i really got into them. Focused my love for Britain, proper music in my own band now), fashion, attitude, seriously everything.
