Thought I'd write a little review of the concert.
It was my first Oasis concert after hoping for the chance to go for about a decade. I live in New Zealand so had never had the chance before (apparently they did come in 1998 but that was just before I got interested and I'd only have been 12 anyway). So when the Wembley shows were anounced to happen during the time I'd be staying with relatives in Wembley, I knew I had to be there. Was up all night online back in NZ but eventually got through on Stargreen and got a ticket.
Got there just after the doors opened at 3pm. I was up on level 5 so wasn't expecting to see much but it was actually a great view from where I was. I thought Reverand & and the Makes and The Enemy were awesome. Had never heard of them before, they must not be known in NZ. Will definitely check out their albums now. Kasabian I had listened to a bit although didn't really like before but that were also incredible live.
Oasis came on a bit earlier than I'd expected (about 8pm) and everything was awesome. Great opening, and Liam's voice sounded great despite all the reviews I'd read in the last year saying he sounded awful. Slide Away was a big highlight for me being one of my favourites and also My Big Mouth which doesn't seem that popular but was great last night.
The biggest highlight for me though had to be Whatever. Liam leaves the stage and Noel has guitar and you just assume he's about to go into TIOBI then he says something about doing something special for the last show of the British tour and that "if you know the 2nd verse you'll get a refund" and starts playing Whatever. One of my absolute top songs and I know it never gets played live so words can hardly describe getting to hear it. Noel's version last night was even better than the single version IMO. The guy next to me said "that's the pinnacle of all Oasis gigs" as the song finished and I reckon that would be hard to argue with.
The rest of the concert continued at the high level. Wonderwall, Live Forever, Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova etc. All the favourites. For me it was pretty much the ultimate setlist, minus Acquiesce.
Whatever and Half the World Away on top of all the main songs at my first time. How can you beat that?

I was at this show last Sunday on the 3rd night. Oasis came on very early. I think it was 7.55pm. By 9.30pm it was still day light. Very strange!! Great show and amazing stadium! The venue was far better than i was expecting. The atmosphere and noise seemed to be caught with the stadium. Best song - Whatever! Totally brilliant! Also, Gem's guitar playing on Im Outta Time is also brilliant. Great show. Far better than Heaton Park. The only slight disappointment was a couple of lads fighting next to me in the seats at the end. Within minutes in turned nasty and took at least 5 security to resolve the situation. The Police also came into the seated area. No need for it!!

There was no trouble like that near me. The only thing was there was a group of very rowdy guys in the row next to me so I got bumbed about a bit but it wasn't too bad. They must have been in the wrong seats though because there were at least 3 or 4 more of them than there were seats available in the row so it was a bit squashed at times. I didn't enjoy getting soaked in other people's beer much either (at least you hope it's only beer!). Don't see why morons feel the need to throw their cups and try to ruin it for others but it's all part of the experience I guess.

Sad the tours nearly over now. Loved Wembley Arena last year (And meeting Kelly Jones), went to Heaton Park and Wembley Stadium (Saturday - superb night).
Gonna be a few more years till the next one sadly.
