Fit? First Class? Technical? Young? Enthusiastic? Instinctive? Dynamic? Stylish?(must mean fashion wise) Aspirational? Commited? Respected? Sincere? Devoted??? Surely this is not the former Newcastle United "striker"?

And let's face it, who doesn't prefer their centre forwards clean and fresh?

4/9 now.
Spotted in the Lowry with Ferguson tonight. Medical in the morning.
Strange one, only started 25 or so games in 4 seasons.

Ferguson must have somebody up his sleave.
Tevez & Ronaldo out, Owen & Valencia in. Thats significantly weakend them.
Proves one thing tho, all Michael Owen has ever cared about is Michael Owen.

All he'll be is a bench player. He can't run and was the worst player on the field when we bet Boro. What's the odds he'l be injured for United's away trip to Liverpool?

If he can get himself fit, he's still one of the best strikers around. I know he was nerv off the treatment table at Newcastle, but Ferguson doesn't get that many singings wrong does he? Maybe going to a club like Manchester United will give him a new lease of life.

Proves one thing tho, all Michael Owen has ever cared about is Michael Owen. Bit uncharitable - is he supposed to not go to the best team in the country cos he's from Liverpool? His career is in the shitter, he needs something like this. Will likely get him back in the England team as well. As much as I'm sure he's still got that old Scouse hatred of Man U, he'd be mad to turn it down. Obviously the main thing this has done though is prove that Fergie DOES like his strikers clean and fresh. ;D

Maybe going to a club like Manchester United will give him a new lease of life. 1) He can't get himself fit 2) He's legs are fucked 3) He's lost 2 or 3 yards of pace. Something he will never get back 4) He doesn't give a shit about anything other than money. Fergie has made plenty of bad signings in his time and I can't see Owen being anything other than a bad signing. I'm just glad to be rid of the over rated talentless c.unt ;D

He'll just be a bit-part player at United - maybe starting 10-15 games, with the rest of his apperances coming from the bench - at Newcastle, he was a big money signing expected to be their main striker. Plus United will create many many more chances over the course of a season than Newcastle could ever dream about, so I'm willing to bet he'll get a right good few goals for them if he can stay fit, which I know is a big if, bit there you go.

Huge Owen fan - great move. Real shame Wenger didn't sign him up, but it's great to see Fergie has faith in him. Fingers crossed this re-ignites his career, and pray to God, lets hope he goes to the World Cup.

Awful signing. 11 years ago he would have been good but now no. Nevermind the fact he gets injured everytime he makes toast he simply just doesn't posses the talent anymore to be a great player for any big team.

How many kids has Wenger tried and failed to replace Viera with? Arsenal won't be in the top 4 next season. Everton are going to pip them to 4th IMO

But they will still finish above Arsenal next season you bell end. True. How many kids has Wenger tried and failed to replace Viera with? Arsenal won't be in the top 4 next season. Everton are going to pip them to 4th IMO As long as Wenger makes the needed tranfers, we'll be genuine contenders again. We already got Verhmalean in. Melo is looking like a decent shot atm, and we can get rid of diving no talented vagina that is Eboue in the same move. Add to that another defender and a striker to replace Adebayor, and we'll be golden. I'd like a new GK, but that won't happen and Almunia is decent enough -----------------Almunia----------- ---Sagna----Toure----Vermalean----Clichy --------------------Melo---------------------- -------------Fabregas----Nasri----------- -----------------Arshavin------------------------ -------------Walcott-----v. Persie Subs: 1. Fabianski 2. Gallas (?) 3. New Defender 4. New Striker 5. Bendtner 6. Denilson 7. Rosicky Not too bad by any means.

Owen to Man Utd? What a fucking joke. Trading Ronaldo and Tevez for Valencia and Owen LMFAO Wouldn't laugh. Owen on a free is a bargain, and in all honesty, was Tevez really worth £25 million? And Man Utd can cope well without Ronaldo - we've seen it numourous times. If it was Rooney that left, maybe then there would be a cause for concern.

Owen and Valencia does not replace Ronaldo and Tevez
