www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/mytime/Review-Oasis-Millennium-Stadium-Cardiff/article-1074806-detail/article.html THEY still wear the same clothes. They still pose with attitude on the stage. They sing the same songs. They are still brilliant. Half of South Wales seemed to pack into the Millennium Stadium yesterday as Oasis returned to the capital. Not much has changed with the group. Liam is still has a chip on his shoulder as he sings his passionate hit list. His brother Noel still balances him out superbly, using his softer style to take the edge of Liam's attitude-driven performance. The last time I saw Liam in his trademark long green jacket at the CIA, I wasn't particularly impressed. They seemed to limp from one song to the next, going through the motions. I don't know if it was the bigger venue, or whether they are just more relaxed with who they are. But Oasis seemed to thrive on the love of the crowd. Sixty thousand-plus people jumped, sang and waved their hands in the air as the band churned out classic hit after classic hit. There was a noticeable drop in energy from the faithful as the band performed some of their more recent tracks. But everyone seemed to time travel back to the early 1990s as Oasis perfectly executed the songs everyone had paid to hear them nail. Nostalgia was flowing strong as Wonderwall, Cigarettes and Alcohol and the other anthems that made them famous was sung with passion and pride. At one point I was hoping they would do an impromptu version of Country House and bring back the memories of those chart battles with rivals Blur. It didn't happen. But the crowds swelled, beer glasses were thrown in the air as everyone imagined the 1990s were here again and the economy was still buoyant. Who cares that the tickets started at £50 odd? Oasis still have the talent, and they still have the love of their fans. Still brilliant.

It would be pretty hilarious to see them doing a version of Country House tacked onto the end of Roll With It.
