I cannot believe you do not have Gerrard as an option and you have Lampard, Robinho and Henry there and they aren't even as good as him and I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT ANY FUCKER SAYS.
How can someone, just one person be the best player in the world? It's not possible to pick just one.

As much as I hate to say it yeah Vidic is better than Cannavaro. Cannavaro is past it. Terry is better also.
"Gerrard. Mehh"....... What he does for a team that only has about 3 maybe 4 world class players including him, makes him one of the best players in the world. The way to find great players is to see if they would fit in any team and he certainly would.

naturally i have to vote for lampard. excellent passer of the ball and is definitely an undervalued player .
in terms of flair i would definitely vote for messi because he is a genius with the ball (ronaldo can run fast and move his legs fast, that's about it) but lampards more of a balenced player in terms of offensive and defensive prowess.

No-way is he by far the best player England have. Either is Lampard. Gerrard is. Not by far I might add. He's the most adaptable player in the world. Rooney hasn't peaked yet, he has the potential to be outstanding and possible amongst the elite but I feel Ferguson is still not getting the best out of him. He plays him out on the wing, off the striker etc. and he has not yet found form he could and should be showing. Cappello has got more outta' Rooney in the short amount of time working with him. And yes I am a Liverpool fan. An honest one at that! |

An honest one at that! the problem with gerrard is that he is either everything or nothing, rooney on the other hand can be far more subtle in his play he has the better football brain, rooney would have worked out how to have played in central midfield with lampard somthing gerrard has never been able to do. and yes i am a manchester united fan, and as i stated in a previous thread i think rooney is better than ronaldo |
