When I saw this thread I had one intention, criticise bloated cocky over confident, over rated, over payed emotion 2 year-old English team. Sorry but England are not going to win. Yes they are, Ireland dont expect to win the world cup after barely qualifying from a group consisting of Macedonia, Lichtenshine, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and Dirka-Dirka-stan. I vote for Spain. we're current champions of Europe, top rated team, great stars, defined style. And, specially, we have Iniesta.
I think it will be between Spain, Brazil, Italy, Germany and one or two more teams. I'd like to see Holland winning it, but they are like us, great team that wins few cups

It's possible for a team full of great players and some fantastic players to win the world cup, even with a clueless manager. I'd say they'll be one of the favourites. And who's voting for England? If Maradona was able to pick the right guys the team would be great even with him as the coach but he's obviously an idiot at picking the right squad too.
Wanna take a look at Argentina's midfield on these two past matches? Fernando Gago, Javier Mascherano, Jonas Gutierrez and Juan Sebastian Veron. Only one world class player (Mascherano) and three worthless players (Veron was good but now he's too old). You can't have that midfield on a World Cup as it's a recipe for disaster. And don't get me started on their defense.

Maradona was a genius as a player, the best one of the world, but he doesn't have any experience as a coach. the only good thing is that players look up to him and respect him (unlike the previous manager). but that's it.
so... the coach is clueless and the team is not a team. it's a gathering of whiny egocentric guys with greatness delussion. the only one who feels the national shirt, with "huevos" ("cojones", whatever you wanna call it) is Mascherano. all the rest are replaceable until they learn to put their feet on the ground and play together like a team.
