Just want to say lasts night show was possibly one of the best Manchesters shows since Maine Road. Liams voice was perfect, Noel seems to keep getting better and the set list was a good as can be. Dropped - Meaning of Soul / Ain't Got Nothin. Replaced by - Roll With It / Half The World Away / Live Forever. The crowd were great, and despite all the rumours about a monsoon and downpour and weather was generally very good, until later on towards the end. Still can't belive the size of the venue. Massive! Like being a the V Festival main stage or Glastonbury. Twisted Wheel did ok. The Enemy were good. Kasabian really kicked things off. Oasis were exceptional. Great day out!!

I agree with everything you just said. It was amazing. I thought the weather was quite refreshing towards the end really depends how you look at it after being splashed with urine. The rain was just right.

Spot on there Sword!
Great gig with both Kasabian & Oasis rocking the show. Twisted Wheel & The Enemy just made up the numbers.
Great setlist & Liams vocals sound superb. And also great atmosphere or at least where I was anyway!
Only bad side was the toilet queues, took ages to get there and nearly got crushed and missed Oasis on the way back. Lucky I was back near the stage before they came out.
EDIT: Just seem that your from down the road where I live, can see why you talk sense haha

Just got home from Manchester now and all i can can say is last night was AMAZING.
Liams vocals were fantastic and the band as a whole was on fire. Set list was excellent and My Big Mouth was the icing on the cake for me! Crowd in the front pit was a bit tame but a nice chap put me on his shoulders and i could see the whole crowd which was something else!
If the other gigs are half as good as this everyone will be in for treat! Live Forever Oasis :-)

I went last night too. Oasis were immense! Liam's vocals were great too. Really enjoyed the day, despite the showers at the end. I managed to get in the front pit too Transport etc. to get back into town afterwards was a farce though. Ended up walking it the whole 3 and half miles back!

The programme for Heaton Park, was it much different from last years programme ? Got one for Wembley Arena last year, wanted to get a Heaton Park one but i normally get them off ebay so i dont have to carry it around with me all day.
I know the cover was different, but just wondered what it was like inside

I'm really glad they played MBM but to be honest Liam sang it shite and it was the worst song they did all night.
Que for the bar just before Kasabian came on was just silly and there was a lot of pushing and fighting, fucking nobs.

Yeah i saw a lot of these nobs fighting like total idiots, just embarassing after a few shandies. As usual the toilets were a nightmare, alright for blokes to have a quick piss but couldnt believe all the blokes queing for the actual toilets. Last place i would want to have a shit is some dodgy toilet at a gig !
Great day out, shame it wasnt warmer. Still wish Oasis would come on earlier instead of 8.45pm etc.

The best part for me on Sunday was Liam singing at a decent pace instead of going at it 100 miles an hour like he usually does live. It really did justice to the songs and the lads in general really turned it on. I think maybe because it was a Manchester gig they gave 110%. All in all a great day/night.

was at murrayfield about 7 yrs ago tae see oasis, standing on the shoulders tour. it's good set up. the park around the perimter of the stadium is cornered off for ticket holders only from 2 pm tae allow you to get a swally so ma adv is dont get to blind and end up missing the gig apparently the enemy r on at 6 pm ideal to time to start gettin 'mad fer it'.

sword: i'm so looking forward tae murrayfield but don't want tae sound patronising, ma burd is a huge kasabian fan, where they seriously only on for a 1/2 hr? what happened tae 'free peace' did they not play at all? because instead of them 'reverend and the makers' are supposed to be playin the scottish gig. i thought 5 bands where playin each gig
