Stupid move on Bruce's part.
Almost as stupid as Gareth 'but it's not about the money, honest' Barry.

Bruce has never been sacked before. Guess that'll change in about 8 months time. Mid table is all anyone will ever do with that ridiculos club. Mick McCarthy was the best manager they had

To be fair to Bruce Wigan are heading for a downward spiral. All their top players are leaving/Left; Palacios, Heskey, Valencia's off and Zaki too. Sunderland may be a gamble but they seem to spend money so who knows and as for Gareth Barry what a tosser but in way I can understand at his age to be offered £110,000 a week is pretty fucking hard to turn down ;D

he's a solid manager i would expect him to keep sunderland up just don't know why he bothered leaving wigan. Money issues. I don't think he would have been getting much of a transfer budget this summer.. and with the billionaire taking over Sunderland I guess he'll get alot more to spend there. Don't think he'll be hanging around Sunderland for that long anyway, he'll be off as soon as another 'big' club come calling... either that or he'll be sacked.
