All this talk of liams voice being shite is rubbish ,in my opinion ,u can never judge his voice by mobile phone footage because the sounds distorted , fact 1 . fact 2 . Familiar to millions and most of the gigs ave seen make liam sound bad because theve edited them ,so the musics guitars example are louder than him and sort of drown him out ,what brought this to mind is sum footage that most off use will have seen but am gng to paste 2 instances of this and see if any one agrees the first clip is in berlin round aboot 2ooo the next 2clips are a rehearsel gig b4 the dig out your soul tour . (the shock of the lightning )and (slide away ). i think liam sounds great when the musics not drowning him out . give me sum feed bk see what you guys think ?.

Hmm.. for one the 2002 gig was in 2002 which is aggess ago.. and the other links are from before dig out your soul came out so thats some time ago aswell.. His voice isnt tooo bad but the only thing that annoys me is that 90% of the gigs he pulls away from the mic when hes singing lines and never finishes the words and it sounds wrong.

The rehearsal gig was before the tour, so his voice was fully rested. Also he was only singing to a small crowd so he didn't shout as much as he usually does. His voice has held up well this tour but I think you'd find it hard to argue that it still isn't as good as in the early 2000s and nowhere near as good as it was in the 90s.
The guitars are definitely too loud on most of the recent gigs that are filmed. The Electric Proms is a pretty good example, a good gig ruined by being unable to hear Liam sing.

Thats basically what i was trying to say that some gigs have been ruined by being unable to hear Liam sing. i wasnt trying to compare his voice cheers m8 .

Have you heard the footage from the Lima gig? TSOTL is even btter than the one he did at the Japanese TV show. Sure,its not like early 2000 to 2001 but its about how it was in 2002. So that means that he' been performing way better than he has for the last 6 or 7 years, espcially better than his vox on the DBTT tour AND he's been able to maintain it this far itnot he tour...to me, this tour he just keeps on sounding better.

On supersonic from the River gig he doesnt pull away early and actually sings the words i remember seeing him in dec in nj and he was pulling away he def sounds alot better
