It's really annoying when people vote and then not say what they voted for or why.

I voted for Standing on the Shoulder of Giants because numerous songs feature tremendous bass lines, including Go Let it Out, Who Feels Love?, and Gas Panic. Of the aforementioned songs, Go Let it Out has my favorite bass line, and I especially love it when Noel yells out "Pick up the bass," and the bass kicks in.
Happy revolver? ;D

SOTSOG
How the bass kicks on FITB. Go Let It Out. Enough said. The groove on Who Feels Love Distorted bass on PYMWYMI and ICSAL. Gas Panic...atmospheric, dreamy, psychedelic. Descending and Ascending basslines on Roll It Over...epic, make the chord progressions what they are.

SOTSOG'S are astounding particularly Gas Panic! which was played by Paul Stacey I believe.
Close runner-up though is Noel's McCartney-esque melodic bass on Cast No Shadow which amounts to a running commentary on the song. i especially adore that outro/final minute where he appears to be attempting to play every note on the fretboard and makes use of absolutely ravishing glissandi.
