A couple items I realized later on.. Slide Away: Noel sings "and i'm gonna try now, gonna make you mine now" I only found this after hearing Noel's acoustic version from Chicago 98. He's never, as far as I've heard, sang those lines in any other acoustic version. Actually, I think you may be right about that......

A couple questions or debates I've always had... Born on a different cloud: Who repeatly sings the line "Born on a different cloud" near the end of the song. Sometimes it sounds like Liam, sometimes Noel. Who feels love demo version: What is Noel saying in the beginning? All i can make out is "at any given point". 1.- It's definitely Noel 2.- I think he says "'Cause our love could be visited at any given point", anyone? ?

In Champagne Supernova, at timing 5:38 you can hear a bird singing In Cast No Shadow I think there are 2 bass lines: a basic one played by Guigsy, and other with fantastic arangements performed by someone else, maybe Noel... I have a doubt: Did Owen Morris or Noel play drums in the DM version of Bring it on down? I think something is mentioned in the DVD but I couldn't understand!!

At the end of Slide Away, you can hear Noel chanting stuff. The bit at the end when you hear Noel chanting stuff? He's singing 'I don't know, I don't care, all I know is that you can take me there'.

I dont think Owen Morris played the drums on Bring It On Down..I think Tony could get it stright away acording to the DM Dvd they got someone else in and he couldn't do it either. I think Tony got it right in the end, he probabley needed a slap off someone before hand. Does anyone understand the chant at the end of the white label version of Columbia on the supersonic single....because i've been trying for 15 years to understand it

I think its referring to it being a Beatles song..saying "Doesn't matter if its our tune" because they are covering a song that is not theirs, then says something about "John and Paul" (another Beatle reference), then says something else to the extent where I think he repeats the John and Paul line then they go into the song I always thought that was a conversation between liam and Noel Liam 'It dosn't matter if its out to tune.... Noel 'But Liam' Liam 'But why? It dosn't matter if its out of tune.....because your cool!!' I might be wrong!!

Who is that doing the falsetto in Live Forever? I know it's not Liam, and Owen Morris said it was him and Marcus (Russell?) doing it, which I think is bull shit. So who did it?

But I've always heard Noel replying to "it doesn't matter if it's out of tune" with a jocular "It might help!". ;-)

I was thinking about this this week, Owen & Marcus... I find it difficult to swallow, but I read and have the magazine where Morris makes that claim. Didn't Liam do the falsetto on the demo?, the slow(er) version done months/half a year( before DM came out? If so why couldn't Liam have performed the falsetto on the DM version? There's also 1994 concerts (see the Gleneagles version below) where Liam nails the falsettos perfectly.

The lead guitar during The Verse and prechorus of Supersonic and Cigarettes and Alchohol.
Even Noel has seemed to forgotten it. And i have never ever seen one cover where people even show evidence that they might have noticed the little guitar bits.

It was definitely Liam on the demos... but on the studio version, it doesn't sound like Liam is doing the falsetto. Obviously it's not Noel either.

I'm not sure. Right at 14 seconds it sounds like a sniff, but that could be any number of things.

I think there is definitely a sniffing of coke followed by an 'oh dear' at the end of Magic Pie. I won't be the only one who's heard this, but I think it's cocaine.

I think it's something like 'follow the music.... to any given point' oh yeah and the falsetto in Live Forever - someone mentioned Gleneagles, Liam sounds great, I always accepted it was him singing on the studio version ;D loads of people thought the falsetto in Columbia was Noel but Liam definitely does both parts.

you guys heard that in the intro to dont go away..(the drum sticks) you can hear Noel go 1,2,3,4 I never heard that until recently
ALL AROUND THE WORLD has prominent (kind of) bass in the opening acoustic part..which is one of the only instances on be here now where bass guitar can be heard..when you think about it..

It is clearly one person doing it. I've always thought it was Liam. I will believe that until there is some really convincing evidence

Liam does sing the falsetto on Live Forever. His voice is double tracked, so it sounds stronger, and in addition to the fact that he rarely falsettoes, it's hard to recognise him. But stick on the vocal only track and there's no doubt it's Liam. Anyway, in Champagne Supernova the falsetto bit that goes "Naaaaaa naaa naaaaa" sounds like Liam amoungst the mishmash of guitars and other instruments, but it's actually Noel and it sounds apalling without the instruments, ridiculous even There's also a subtle melodica part throughout it.

It's not Liam. I'm pretty sure Noel said on the Definitely Maybe DVD that either Mark Coyle (I think) sang it because Noel couldn't get his voice that high.

Not really an 'I'm the only one who noticed this' type thing but I heard from somewhere that Oasis' logo was inspired by the nWo logo from WCW wrestling... ...idk, could've been. Stupid wrestling...
