The forum's really going down hill, huh? So the matches are:
1. Arsenal - Villarreal 2. Porto - Man Utd.
3. Chelsea - Liverpool 4. Bayern - Barça
Winners of quarter finals 1 and 2 will meet in semifinal 1. Winners of quarter finals 3 and 4 will meet in semifinal 2.
My predictions: Arsenal and Man U. (though I hope Porto trashes united). Liverpool and Barça.

Villarreal - United and Liverpool - Barça imo United and Liverpool for the final, then Liverpool wins it Barça players will be sad, they'll lose 1st position on league, get nervous, then defeated at cup's final and the self called best ever ever ever dream team takes his historical place after Real Madrid now seiously, I think Pool will kick their asses

Hopefully Liverpool - Barca/Bayern & Arsenal - United
Only Arsenal can stop Utd getting to the final. I'm hoping Liverpool get to the final and a Liverpool - United final in Rome would be carnage.

So it's Arsenal - Man U. and Chelsea - Barça. My prediction for the final: United - Barça. Chelsea's going to be tough though. To supersonic: I've always hated United and Ferguson simply because I've fancied Liverpool since the first Fowler era. It's not too passionate or anything, but I hope they lose every game they play.

I've fancied Liverpool since the first Fowler era. Why? They were hardly world-beaters back in 1996, were they?

I hope they sell him and take Ribery or Ronaldo. it's a pity Pepe lost his mind, he's a great defense

Right now, Manchester United are a better football team than Real Madrid. Past glories mean fuck all. Just ask the Scousers down the road. Yeah, the ones who are currently behind us in the league, and yet somehow miraculously managed to dick your lot 5-0 over two legs. Shower. Of. Shite.

we have won champions league 3 times in the last 10 years. you have won it twice. this year you're playing better (not difficult if you know that we have 3 all season injured players like VanNistelroy or Diarra, we have not great stars apart from Casillas, the president was the worst ever and had to leave...), but that doesn't mean the club is bigger. all trophies count, doesn't matter if they were won earlier (it's like if the world cup of '58 for brazil wasn't counted!), and we got a Europe cup on '66, like you in '68. too close to have in consideration just yours. anyways, just give me a month and a half. elections day is 14th june, you will see how stars come back to our team, and we will have a talk about it

Yeah, it's obvious and totally objective that Real Madrid is the bigger club ever. Even if I agreed with you - which I don't - we're not discussing club history. We're not discussing past glories. We're discussing Manchester United and Real Madrid, circa 2009. Your lot haven't made it past the first knockout round of the Champions League in five years, and if Barcelona hadn't dropped eight points at the back end of February, you'd have nothing left to play for. The presidential and managerial situation is nothing short of farcical for a club of Real Madrid's stature, and has been for as long as I can remember. And what really fucks me off about your lot is that they show other clubs, even players no fucking respect whatsoever. They've got absolutely no class. The way they have, and continue to conduct themselves over the Ronaldo transfer 'saga' is utterly shameful. The club has said no. The player has said no. And if you don't believe me, have a read of this: www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1168034/Ronaldo-insists-hes-happy-United-despite-Madrid-stepping-75m-pursuit.htmlUnited are, in every sense, the superior club. Both on and off the pitch. And that should be obvious, even to you. Oh, and Barcelona are better an'all.

Ronaldo wanted to come man. the only difference between Zidane or brazilian Ronaldo transfers and this one is that he didn't have the guts to admit it in the key moment. after he knew for sure he'd stay in Manchester, changed his words to have a calm year, and you all went crying to forgive him. the only problem is that the president who left wasn't good enough to be there, but you only have to wait for some weeks when Florentino Pérez comes back and, yet again, ALL the clubs around the world want to be like RM. right now you're playing better. ok. but with not as good players RM is showing a courage you will never have but on the other aspects... supporters are the owners of RM, while you have been sold to a couple of americans who don't find difference between buying a football team or a NBA franchise. and Ferguson... he's got trophies, but he also acts sometimes like a strange man. remember the boot he threw to Becks, for example. I think he's the one who believes he's god. and about history, the greatness of a club is earned along the years. you can't ignore that to call one club superior to other. respect comes with great victories, and you're still far from Liverpool in the club of top teams ever. about Barcelona, I will tell you something a Barça ex-player and coach (Charlie Rexach) said: "it's incredible how, in the last 5 years, Barça had a better team and played better but have won just 2 leagues, same as RM, and the third one is still difficult, even Barça is playing as good as ever." makes you think that such a great team with these great players is equal to RM recently. and last year, with them having almost same starting team, they were 18 points behind.

after he knew for sure he'd stay in Manchester, changed his words to have a calm year, and you all went crying to forgive him. Your lot orchestrated the whole thing. They unsettled a player who was, and still is happy at his club. I'll admit that Ronaldo didn't do himself any favours in the way he handled himself, but he never once stated publicly that he wanted to play for Real Madrid, and certainly not before they came wading in with unsolicited offers left, right and centre. We forgave him because we realise his value to our club, and because we believe that he wants to play for Manchester United. He's proven his loyalty on the pitch, both this season and last. and, yet again, ALL the clubs around the world want to be like RM. If you think that's true then you really are an arrogant c*nt. right now you're playing better. ok. but with not as good players RM is showing a courage you will never have Some of the most pivotal moments in my club's illustrious history were nothing short of heroic, pal. And don't talk to me about what makes a club courageous until yours has been fucking decimated by a plane crash. but on the other aspects... supporters are the owners of RM, while you have been sold to a couple of americans who don't find difference between buying a football team or a NBA franchise. and Ferguson... he's got trophies, but he also acts sometimes like a strange man. remember the boot he threw to Becks, for example. I think he's the one who believes he's god. If you know anything about the Glazer takeover then you'll know that United fans did everything in their power to stop it from happening. And to pick fault with Sir Alex Ferguson - the most successful manager of all time - is nothing short of desperate. Where Manchester United are concerned, he IS God. you're still far from Liverpool in the club of top teams ever. Do the double this year and we're only one European Cup away from matching their trophy count in the big two. So no. We're not. about Barcelona, I will tell you something a Barça ex-player and coach (Charlie Rexach) said: "it's incredible how, in the last 5 years, Barça had a better team and played better but have won just 2 leagues, same as RM, and the third one is still difficult, even Barça is playing as good as ever." makes you think that such a great team with these great players is equal to RM recently. and last year, with them having almost same starting team, they were 18 points behind. I seem to recall that you won the first of those two league titles on a technicality that would have seen you finish second had that championship race been contested in any of the other major European leagues.
