Brilliant. However, I'm wondering if an Oasis song has been that far up the Canadian charts.

Well if single sells counted in America they would have done good. They were #6 with Falling Down on the US singles chart.

In the US its not as hard and competitive to chart on the single sales chart. It may say #6, but almost no one buys single in the US. I bet you if you looked at the actual sells it wasn't more the 5K at most.

In a America almost no one buys singles its not like the UK. Sales aren't just down with singles whey are minimal. The single sales just don't matter in the US and maybe 1 out of every 1000 people that lives in America still buys singles. #6 on the billboard singles chart is like The Super Bowl on Madden while the actual Hot 100 is like being a football player and actually winning the Super Bowl. Singles are a joke and America and most people just like Oasis don't even know singles are sold in the US. So if you're just passing by it looks like Oasis is doing great in America if you look at the actual numbers and sales then you realize that the hard numbers are much better in the UK.
