i dont get why they did soooooo many remixes of Falling Down
i mean what the fuck is going on? why would they think we need 4-5different versions of one song?
bloody ludicrous it is!

The more i think about it, the more i think it was the choice of single. I dont mind falling down, but compared to the tracks listed in the other 9 places above it, u can hardley call it catchy or single worthy...
Surely BIU or TT would have a better chance @ connecting with the same ppl that keep 'use sombody' in the charts for so long???

Seriously, who cares about the charts. By showing any interest in it you're merely legitimising something that ceased to be relevant years ago.

get on your boots was the first single from u2's new album & all 3 of oasis singles have reached higher so that's good.im sure most of you like me buy every cd single & cd album of oasis for your collection,so for those of you who dont i think you should start buying them all, they're definitely worth it.

I still cant get my head over how the DBTT singles did so well in the charts but DOYS singles barely cracked.....DBTT>DOYS?

Well, maybe because DOYS was more of an 'album' as oppose to DBTT which had clear single material...Lyla, IOBI etc...those songs were always gonna go down well with the general public...catchy pop sing-a-long tunes. DOYS is a more experimental/psychedelic LP and evidently less chart friendly (not in a bad way) if you ask me.

Im glad it went top 10,for a single that has had little promotion and was already released as a download on itunes last august I think it's done quite well. Of course I would have loved it to be much higher.

The average fan could give 5 fooks about getting 7 remixes of the same song. Falling Down (which is a great song) has 4 or 5 different remixes. They claim to record all these new songs and yet are not bothered to offer up new music. And guess what the public has in fact spoken. No or very little new music and you get singles charting at no. 12 and no. 10. Lose and like it I guess… I bought the box set and all 3 singles on this go around. The im outta time purchase felt like a charitable donation. The Shock should have been no. 1 but they waited 1000000 years to release it as a single. That single should have been in the shops 1 or 2 weeks after it hit radio in mid August.

I sure as hell hope they drop all this remix bull for the next album. All four of them can write songs so I would rather hear some average b-sides over repetitive remixes.
I also hope they don't do the different digital bundles, bonus discs and all that crap for the next one.

i think the b-sides from dbtt are better than doys, sitting here in silence was a class tune & eyeball tickler, they needed tunes like that to make more fans rush out to buy em,although i buy all their cd singles anyway.

if that shit is at no1 then i think its a credit to oasis that they dont appeal to these morons That's exactly what I was thinking. If the top ten is comprised of shit like that on a regular basis, then I dare say it's to Oasis' credit that they're not heading the singles chart. Albums matter. Singles are now worth fuck all.
