for me it was because it is a great cover, lots going on and finally we had colour on an Oasis album but why no awards etc. I mean we or Oasis shouldnt always expect awards, but it wasnt even nominated at the NME Awards, Why? Is it not better that any of the others that were nominated, even The Killers cover is good, but not that good!!!! Supposedly they spent a lot of money on the guy doing the design and I like the way they've incorporated the singles artwork with the album

Worth every penny. As you say better than the black & white ones. It shows a lot more effort with this album.

Funny thing, the way you put both covers they kind look like one, with the sky above the waterfall.....

Yes, it's probably their best after the iconic Definitely Maybe cover.

Good photo, but end of the day ... just a photo, nice bit with the 'Beatles' playing football on the roof. at least DM, MG, BHN and DOYS have things going on, thats what an album cover should do

i think the morning glory cover is classic. DM is pretty good. BHN is weird. Sotsog is bland, HC is horrendous. DBTT is bland/ugly. DOYS is awesome.

I think its a beautyfull cover but, has nothing to do with the dark atmosphre vof the songs... yes, the designer based the cover on words used in the songs may have been good to use the songs more, not just picking certain lyrics like butterfly, oh he says butterfly there - i'll put a butterfly on it if you think about it, the cover is simple - oh he said eye there, i'll put an eye on it still a good cover and well put together

I always see WTSMG's cover as Oasis' answer to the Beatles Abbey Road, I think its pretty iconic
