Is there a difference between data discs and data DVD's? The Roxio I use which came with the computer is fine for making data discs. You can obviously upgrade to a premium version but as far as I'm aware the free version is fine. I use it to put programmes like Lost, Heroes, Prison Break etc on a DVD disc so I can watch it on my DVD player and it works perfectly.
