From the more tour knowledgeable on this board, what are the chances that Oasis will hit either Atlanta or Houston on their next U.S. tour? This assuming they even come back to the U.S.

I live in Atlanta, and given that it is the largest city in the Southeastern U.S., once would think they would be stopping by.

My friend lives in Houston, and I'd go there for a show since I've never seen them live, and who knows how much longer they've got? Plus Houston's the 4th largest city population wise.

I live in Tampa (largest area in U.S. they have not played). They were scheduled here in '96 but we all know what happened to that tour!!

Anyway, I have seen Oasis 5 times. Once in Pompano Beach about 4 hours away (the infamous Liam quitting b/c of his voice after 4 songs on the HC tour and Noel doing an Awesome 7 song acoustic to keep the concert going). Then saw them 2 nights later in Orlando (an hour drive). I've seen them also in Orlando on the BHN tour. I drove to Atlanta to see them at Midtown Music Fest in 2000 and I flew up in '05 to Atlanta to see them on the DBTT tour at the Hi Fi Buys Amphitheatre.

Moral of the story.....when there is a will there is a way! Hopefully Noel and Gang watched the Super Bowl and said 'Hey....we haven't played Tampa Bay area yet!' Hell I've seen Radiohead, Coldplay, Kasabian (yeah they were here.....like 100 people in audience..it was great) and I'm seeing Morrisey next month so c'mon Oasis...come to Tampa!
